Prenatal, Partner prenatal and Mommy and Me classes, Baby's 1st Massage. Most classes held in Dallas, TX. Classes forming in Frisco.
I learned all about Mimi from my sister-in-law who couldn't say enough wonderful things about her! It's why I took the class! I'm now in my second session and love it so much...my Wednesday class is the highlight of my week and the workouts Mimi sends you via email are the best...I do them each night at home. She has a lovely, gentle way about her and encourages all of us to talk and share with each other (the BEST for a first-time mom like me!). My husband and I also did the Couples Yoga seminar. I say go for it! Do not miss Mimi's classes :) you'll be so glad you signed up!
I highly recommend Mimi's prenatal yoga class. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and feel great. I also have no anxiety and nervousness towards giving childbirth (I'm sure I'll have some as I near 40 weeks) but I believe that's largely in part to Mimi's awesome class that has made me feel more prepared then I ever imagined. She is a great educator. She shares her opinions and preferences in a neutral way and judges no woman for the decisions they make on how they want their delivery to go. The best thing you can have on your side is to be informed in the decisions you have to make when it comes time to deliver.
Mimi's prenatal yoga class is a must for any expecting mother. It's a safe place to explore your fears and hopes about pregnancy. You'll also get a fabulous education about the birthing process and find ways to naturally reduce pregnancy pains.
My husband and I also took Mimi's partner prenatal yoga class which was equally amazing. My husband learned so many things new to a first time dad as well as ways to support my during my pregnancy and labor.
What do I love most about this class? I feel that Mimi truly...cares. Her greatest concerns are my and my baby's well-being. Not only do I benefit physically and mentally from the practice, but I benefit from the educational aspect. Mimi is an expert and she teaches us that we have options and tools for making our pregnancy and delivery experience very positive and rewarding. Mamaste!
Mimi is the BEST! I did prenatal yoga with my first when I lived in DC and I was determined to do it again when I got pregnant with my daughter. I soooo looked forward to Mimi's classes. They just made me feel so much better!
I even recommended the class to a friend of mine who was pregnant at the same time. We were so fortunate to meet other mamas during our time in yoga that we all meet up once a week w/our babies for lunch!
Mimi is the BEST and I HIGHLY recommend her!!
I attended prenatal yoga classes during my second and third trimester of my third pregnancy at move studio. I had given birth naturally twice before but I still learned ALOT about breathing, relaxation, visualization and postures during pregnancy to position baby optimally for labor. This class focused more on stretching and relaxing and was not as physically demanding as other yoga classes i have taken, but a very useful resource for pregnancy.
I took prenatal classes with Mimi at Move Studio for most of my second trimester and almost all of my third. These classes were a great help in dealing with all of the aches and pains of pregnancy. Also, I felt like I was stronger mentally and physically and better prepared for labor and delivery through these classes. Best of all, they gave me a chance to separate from the daily grind and really appreciate my pregnancy. My husband and I also did the partner prenatal workshop twice. This was a huge help in connecting my husband to the pregnancy and preparing him for labor and delivery. Since my son was born I have also done one series of the Mommy and Me Yoga. I also thought these classes were great! My only complaint is that we haven't been able to continue with the classes since they are now only offered during the week and I work full time.
I have been taking the prenatal yoga class with Mimi since my second trimester and it has truly been relaxing and helpful. Mimi helps you relax and truly connect with your baby. The class provides you with a relaxing workout where you are able to stretch. She teaches you how to breathe while pregnant and giving birth.
MiMi's class has been such an important part of my pregnancy and I truly believe that it has made my pregnancy easier, smoother and made me stronger both physically and emotionally throughout the entire experience. The class offers such a great time to focus on yourself and the baby during a hectic time in your life. I would highly recommend MiMi and her prenatal yoga class to anyone!!!
I took prenatal yoga and baby’s first message with MiMi and loved them both. Prenatal yoga was absolutely the best thing I did to prepare for childbirth. I had a speedy and safe delivery using MiMi’s breathing techniques and kegel exercises. Even my doctor was surprised with how fast our delivery went and I know it was because of MiMi’s help. She is caring and kind and most of calming which was a great help when I was so big I couldn’t breathe. I will definitely be back for the second baby!
Mimi has an amazing ability to cater to the entire mom-to-be, body, mind and soul. Through breathwork, visualization, yoga and practical education she prepares pregnant yogis for the most positive birth experience possible. I am infinitely more grounded, positive and prepared for the birth of my first child, thanks to Mamaste Prenatal Yoga classes and MiMi.
I am currently taking Mimi's Prenatal class 2 times a week and absolutely love it. I have not had my baby yet, but believe that so many of the things we have learned in class will help me with a natural delivery. Mimi is encouraging, enlightening, and inspiring. I plan to take the Mommy and Me classes too. I would highly recommend this class to any pregnant woman who wants to be closer spiritually to their unborn baby and enjoy the journey to motherhood.
I started Mimi's Prenatal Yoga class at 13 weeks. I was amazed how many women stay with it through their entire pregnancy. And, I turned out to be one of those women. I started going just once a week and practicing the various positions and breathing at home. This didn't last long, I needed to go more than once a week! Going twice a week until I delivered gave me much needed relaxation and a sense of peace. I loved how connected she made us feel to our unborn babies - SHE'S AMAZING!
Mimi was wonderful! I attended her classes during the second half of my pregnancy and loved every class! It helped all the aches and pains. I was able to deliver naturally and had a very fast labor. I think my yoga practice prepared my body for the delivery. I will take her prenatal yoga class for every pregnancy!
MiMi is amazing! She supported me IMMENSELY before childbirth and afterward. My baby arrived 8 days past the due date. I was feeling very anxious. MiMi helped calm me not only in her Prenatal Yoga classes but through encouraging emails and a phone call. In Mommy & Me classes, I think my baby finds her voice just as soothing as I do. We loved her Baby's 1st Massage class, too. My baby gets massaged every night before bed. (And I'm SURE she sleeps hard and soundly because of the techniques MiMi shared with us.)
I took Mimi's prenatal yoga class during both of my pregnancies and I loved it both times. I believe that taking her class made my delivery and recovery much easier. Mimi is a wonderful teacher that is not only concerned about your health and wellbeing while pregnant but post pregnancy as well. I also took Mimi's Mommy and Me class with my first daughter and it was a great experience! She is a wonderful yoga instructor and I definitely recommend her to all of my friends.
I took MiMi's Prenatal, Baby & Me and Baby's First Massage classes. The prenatal yoga class was one of the reasons I had such a great pregnancy and delivery. I wanted to deliver my baby naturally and this class helped me prepare mentally and physically for it.
I highly recommend all of MiMi’s classes. They are absolutely wonderful!
Mimi is a great yoga teacher. She gives personalized attention even in a class setting. She was always caring, enthusiastic, and supportive. I learned a lot from her class, and feel that her prenatal yoga class really helped me stay as comfortable as possible in my pregnancy and my unmedicated labor.
Mimi was an amazing instructor. After practicing ypga for many years I wanted to be able to continue my practice while pregnant and Mimi worked to make sure we had the benefit of yoga even with the discomforts during pregnancy. I event took Mimi's Baby's 1st massage class and use the techniques every day. My son loves them and giggles each time.
MiMi is wonderful! I love her and her classes. I went to her prenatal yoga class throughout my pregnancy and enjoyed a wonderul pregnancy. My son and I also attended her Mommy & Me yoga class and Baby's First Massage Workshop when he was younger. She's so knowledgeable, and I always felt a sense of ease when I left her class. I would recommend her to anyone. I can't wait until I'm pregnant again, so I can go back to MiMi!
I could not have asked for a better prenatal yoga experience! Not only was MiMi's supportive and calming instruction great for strength and stretching, but it also allowed me to focus on my body and my baby... two things that were pretty tough when I spent all but this one hour of my day running around after my 2-year-old. I looked forward to MiMi's classes every week and felt refreshed and renewed afterwards. My experience in MiMi's class helped me gain the confidence to give birth naturally -- sans drugs! -- which was my personal goal (though MiMi is supportive of whatever approach you choose to take). (My first child was born using an epidural.) What a gift to myself this class was... I highly recommend it to everyone!
I took Mimi's class during my pregnancy and I loved them. Mimi is really sweet and patient and competent. She loves what she's doing.
The class is really relaxing and help you to connect with baby while pregnant. I'm doing regular yoga, but this class specially designed for pregnant women is great to do the postures you need to do during your pregnancy.
I started prenatal yoga with Mimi when I was 14 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy. I am a fairly athletic person and a previous marathon runner. I was looking for something that would help me maintain my strength and sense of balance in a safe manner during my pregnancy. Of course I was sad that I could not do the regular yoga classes with all my friends who weren't pregnant, but I am now almost 36 weeks pregnant and I have loved Mimi's classes since the beginning. They are so relaxing, and I can see the difference that they have made in my ability to get around more easily throughout my pregancy. As an added bonus, Mimi is very knowledgable in many aspects of pregnancy and labor. She is forever giving helpful tidbits of information which I find myself remembering and putting into practice. I have checked on some of the suggestions that she makes by researching them on the internet and with my doctor and they are right on target. It seems to me that her classes are in many ways more helpful than a Lamaze class because you practice the exercises and techniques that you are going to use in labor and delivery week after week instead of just going through a one-time course introduction. Prenatal yoga with Mimi has been a great thing for helping me to stay strong and heathly through my pregancy and I will always be glad that I did it. Besides that, Mimi is a fantastic person to know!
I took Mimi's Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, and Baby's 1st Massage. It was a thoroughly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I had never taken yoga classes before, but after enrolling in Mimi's program, Yoga has become my first resort to relaxation and self control; especially during the trying moments of labor. I truly enjoyed all of her sessions. I would love to continue her classes as soon as my schedule permits. Not to forget that my baby also enjoyed Mimi's soothing voice and songs.
I would highly recommend her classes for absolutely anyone. You get to realize your inner self and connect with your body in a very efficient and painless way.

I had never taken a yoga class before I enrolled in the Prenatle Yoga series. I feel in love with the class right away. Mimi was great at being very pacient and helping us all learn how to properly do the positions. She would also give us lots of options to make it work for us as we got "bigger" and it was a little more difficult. I had an amazing first pregnancy and a credit a lot of how wonderful I felt to this class. I was able to keep my muscles strong and my joints healthy. I learned how to relieve so much discomfort, and was able to apply it at home when I needed relief. I aslo learned so much about how to breath and really "relax". This was a HUGE help for labor and delivery. I was fully prepared to deal with everything becasue I was mentally and physically prepared. I was also working full time and it was amazing to have an hour to myself to really concentrate and connect with my baby. I was able to really focus on her in a quiet relaxing environment.
After my daughter Ava was born we attended the Mommy and Me yoga and it was equally as wonderful. it was a place I could take Ava and not worry if she cried or I needed to feed her, and get myself back in shape. It was an interactive way for me to start recovering my body, and I did not have to worry about finding child care because Ava was part of the fun.
My husband and I are planning to have another chils soon and I plan to take full advantage of Mimi's classes throughout my pregnancy, and continue on with my new little one when the time comes.
I strongly recomened all of Mimis classes!
I took Mimi's prenatal yoga during my 2nd pregnancy. I highly recommend it!!! I started during my 14th week and took it until the week I delivered. The class helped me relax, have dedicated/scheduled time for myself and baby, and connect with other moms. Mimi is an extremely knowledgeable and caring instructor. I am certain the breathing and relaxation helped me focus more during delivery as well. My delivery nurse commented on how well I was breathing/staying calm. Even my husband commented on how well I was doing & the yoga must have really helped :)
I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and have been taking classes with Mimi since my 14 week. Mimi's class not only teaches me relaxation techniques and breathing, but it also helps me connect with my baby. Once or twice I had to miss a week and I had a hard time sleeping because my body (especially my legs) missed the gentle workout and stretching. I highly recommend this class.
I took MiMi's prenatal yoga class and Baby's 1st Massage. The yoga class was great and Mimi really understands how to gently help get you in shape for delivery. The Baby's 1st Massage was good as well. My daughter is 13 months and we still use some of the techniques Mimi taught.
This is a wonderful yoga class for expecting moms, regardless of prior yoga experience! With my first pregnancy I did not exercise much, experienced pregnancy-induced hypertension at 27 weeks and had to deliver early at 35 weeks. With my second pregnancy, I have been attending Mimi's class since 14 weeks, have successfully delayed the hypertension issues until 37 weeks this time, and am scheduled to deliver a happy full-term baby next week at 38.5 weeks! I am so grateful to Mimi and her classes. My husband and I also enjoyed her Partner Prenatal Yoga class, and I look forward to taking Mimi's Baby Massage and Mommy&Me classes in future months!
I started taking Prenatal yoga with MiMi at the start of my second trimester and took it all the way up until the week I gave birth. I loved her prenatal classes! I was at MoveStudio the other night and saw all the pregnant girls going into her class. It kind of made me wish I was still pregnant! Her classes really helped me prepare my body delivery, relieve back pain and learn to relax while pregnant. It was a great way to get exercise during my pregnancy especially during those months when it became too hot to walk outside. I looked forward to her class every week and it became a place to get away from it all during my pregnancy. It was nice being in a class full of pregnant moms that understood exactly what you were going through. MiMi is so knowledgeable and I loved how every week she would email us pictures of the exercises and breathing techniques we did in class.
I also attended her Baby's 1st Massage workshop twice. Previous attendees can repeat the class for half price! This class was very informative. In the first couple of months, we would do her massage routine every day. My son loved it!
Mimi does an amazing job in her prenatal Yoga class. I am not a Yoga person, but signed up to relax my mind before the baby came. It wasn't just relaxing for my mind, but a work out that made me stronger. Everyone should take this class:)
I absolutely loved the prenatal yoga class. Mimi is a great instructor. I took this class starting in my second trimester and continued until time I gave birth and everything I learned helped so much with the delivery.
I started prenatal yoga about 2 weeks ago with Mimi. She is the most amazing person. I am having a tough pregnancy and she taught me some relaxation methods. I learned how to connect with my baby on a way deeper level. Thanks Mimi !!!!
I took prenatal yoga classes with MiMi at the start of my second trimester and looked forward to it every single week! Mimi is a wonderful teacher full of positive energy. I found the classes very relaxing and it give me a feeling that I was doing something good for my body and my baby. The breathing techniques I learnt there greatly helped me have a smooth labor and delivery. The classes were really great and I consider myself privileged to have been under the guidance of MiMi with her vast amount of knowledge and experience in this field. I would definitely recommend her to everyone I know.
I loved the Prenatal Yoga class. Mimi was a wonderful teacher. She made my very uncomfortable pregnant body feel rejuvenated and relaxed.
