I could never be more satisfied with any pre-school for my children! King of Glory is a positive, loving program which gently encourages children to love learning and to love others. It is wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking the very best for their child.
King of Glory Preschool is the best, most loving and educational preschool in the valley. The director and her staff are top notch. You won't find a better preschool.
I am amazed at how responsive this preschool is to parents' input and children's needs. The teachers (all long-timers there) genuinely love the kids and emphasize their strengths without overlooking their needs for growth. The teachers are wonderfully creative with the themes and projects, even the snacks often. As a family whose daughter attends this school, we see King of Glory as a huge blessing and a great value financially.
My second child is now going through this preschool. I can not say enough about our wonderful experiences. It is so developmentally appropriate and fun for our children. Another big plus is the cost. Just yesterday I was talking with a mom who paid over double. The preschool has given me new friends as well as my sons.
My daughter has been at KOG Preschool for 2 years. It has been a wonderful experience for her. The teachers are so loving & caring. I truly feel like they have my daughter’s best interest at heart! As a stay home mom, the cost to send my daughter to KOG preschool is very affordable. I also love working in the classroom and having the opportunity to know the teachers and children better. They also have so many wonderful special events such as Father Night. My daughter & husband look forward to that special night they share together!! I cannot say enough positive things about KOG preschool, it truly is a gem!!!
I have had two children attend KOG Preschool. I truly cannot say enough about the overall experience my boys had at KOG. I believe in the 'trickle down'concept; whatever is going on at the top affects everything else. Claudia Varga (the director at KOG) is not only an amazing person, I've known her now over 18 years, she is a seasoned veteran. She has three grown kids of her own and a huge heart for children. If you want the most loving, Christ centered, active, social environment for your child, this is the place for you!!! I drove many miles out of my way (from Ahwatukee)just to make sure Claudia and the other competant, loving teachers at KOG could make their special mark on my childs heart.
Both of my children attended KOG. I found it to be a fun ,caring, safe, and loving environment for my family. The staff was wonderful, and always had my children's best interests at heart. I especially enjoyed the parent participation. I always felt involved with my kids, and it gave me a chance to experience first hand what went on in the classrooms. I was so impressed with the phenomenal teachers and the Christian based program, that after my kids went on to grade school, I went on staff at Kog preschool. I am truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing school!
KOG is an amazing beginning for children entering school years.
When they say you are part of a family they mean it. My son and I met wonderful friends from the staff and other parents. I knew my son was in a safe, loving Christian environment.
My son went to KOG for two years. The only complaint I had was that my son had to leave when starting Kindergarten. I'm a single mom who needed help when deciding which Private Christian school would be best for my son academically. They took the time to talk to me what they felt would be the better choice. It turned out to be the best advice.
One of the things I was most impressed with is the teacher coming to our home to introduce herself to my son in his environment.
I have had 3 kids at KOG. Now 18,13 and 8-they still love to drive by KOG and all love to stop to see Ms. V.and give her a hug.I found all the teachers to be godly, wise and loving. We never had a so-so year. Every year for every child was fantastic.
I doubt that there is a better preschool around. The building and grounds are large, warm and clean. The church itself is supportive and loves the kids.
Price is fair and they are understanding of financial hardships.
I loved that it was a co-op. I got to help and see the teachers in action as well as get to know other moms and kids.
My favorite thing was that it is truly a Christian preschool. The staff prays together, encourages each other, holds one another accountable and plays together as well. The staff is very stable. We are in love with KOG preschool!
I would highly recommend King of Glory Preschool to any person. I enrolled both of my daughters (now in 3rd and 6th grades) at KOG and they benefitted tremendously. Of our total 7 years at the school, the children were met with love and had a safe environment for them to learn and grow in. The nurturing that they received from the incredible staff at KOG set my children up for success. They were ahead of the game academically when entering into public school, but the most important aspect (In my opinion) is that they were both socially prepared for that journey. The school was so amazing that they allowed my August birthday daughter to attend the Pre-K class as a 5 year old so that she could build on her "leader" skills. Every one of her public school teachers comments on what a true leader she is and how she assists people in class.
I am very thankful to King of Glory and their staff for their years of education and love that have helped to build my children into who they are today. (Also, I forgot to mention that I loved the school so much that we drove over 25 miles each way to make sure that our 2nd child attended KOG!)
My daughter attended King of Glory preschool when she was four years old. It was the BEST experience! The environment is incredibly loving and joy filled. There is just the right balance between socialization, academics, and just plain fun. The staff at King of Glory Preschool go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and to provide meaningful memories. The "extra-curricular" programs are amazing such as a special Dad's night, Mother's Day celebration, the Christmas program, and the end of the year event. I highly recommend this preschool to anyone looking for a place for their child to grow in character and confidence!
I sent two daughters to this school for three years each- but seven years apart. The same teachers who were there for my first daughter from 1997 to 2000 were still there for my second daughter from 2004 to 2007. How many preschools have that kind of staff retention rate? I would bet it would be hard to find any other school in the East Valley with teachers who stay for that long. This school has great activities, very low-key Christian lessons, incredible parent involvement, and the best part-- the focus is on social skills: not academic. I am a kindergarten teacher in the East Valley. I assure you that kindergarten teachers would rather see socially adjusted children than children who can recite the alphabet and count to 10, but don't know how to sit in "circle time", raise their hands, get in a line, use a "cubby", take turns, share, and say "please" and "thank you". The teaching of core social values and social skills are what make King of Glory stand above other schools. This school is a dream for children and for parents who care about children!
King of Glory is the best preschool around. I sent my (now) 12 year old and (now) 8 year old sons there and hated to see them move on to "real school." The classrooms are large, bright and well furnished, the teachers affectionate and positive, and
the opportunity for parental involvement is great. Claudia Varga is an outstanding director and always selects top notch teachers to be with the children; most of the teachers have been there for YEARS and still are excited to be there!
We are trying to adopt a baby girl and one of the most exciting things is that she'll get to go to preschool at KOG!
I am just now finishing up my 8th year with King of Glory Preschool. My youngest of three will be off to Kindergarten this next year. This preschool really is the best of the best!! The teachers are of the highest quality, in the classroom as well as on a personal level. They so evidently love and care for your children. It is like a second home for the kids and the developmental play sets them up for the best possible learning environment. The projects, music, stories, artwork, introduction to centers and circle-time all make for the best experience and preparation for elementary school readiness, in the most loving and nuturing environment. I only wish I could have continued my children's education there when it came time for elementary school! It is one not to overlook. They can and will meet and exceed all of your needs and expectations -your children are as precious to them as they are to you.
My son and youngest daughter both attended King of Glory preschool and couldn't have had a more positive beginning to their school experience. The teachers are warm and nurturing. They teach through play and children learn so much without even realizing its happening! I loved the Christian perspective and hugs are given freely. The tuition was more reasonable than most places I checked. I wouldn't consider sending my children to any other preschool. The staff at KOG respects children and teaches them to be kind, responsible people. They were a blessing to me and my family. Oh, one more benefit--they have an awesome church library that you can use for free which includes books, of course, but also lots of great family friendly movies. It's way more convenient than hauling the family to Blockbuster since you're already there anyway, and you don't have to worry if the movies/books will contain inappropriate content. A great resource!
