I have been taking my son to Kindermusik classes with Wendy since he was five months old. The classes are EXTREMELY well planned for each age group. Wendy has lots of age-appropriate instruments for the kids to play with as well as some unconventional "instruments" (such as making crunching noises with a paper bag to the beat of a song) to teach parents and kids that there are many ways to make music at home. The music covered in class spans a wide range of music, including classical, folk, and international music, which makes the class interesting for kids and adults. Class materials (for Village classes, a board book, a CD, an instrument, and a wall poster showing class themes) are high quality, and the CD won't drive parents nuts if their kids want to listen to it in the car. Wendy is also very good about making sure that instruments, etc. are cleaned well after class, which is important for young children, who often want to taste-test. Highly recommended!

Kindermusik with Wendy Nelson is a wonderful music class.
We attend the ‘Our Time’ class weekly and we enjoy all the different segments of the class: listening to what a train does, body movement dances and all the fun instruments. The ‘at-home’ materials are great and the “train box carrier“ is a nice reminder of our next class. We listen to our home cd’s during the week and read ‘Shiny Dina’ almost nightly. The song lyrics are posted nicely around
Wendy’s living room which helps me out a lot. I travel from Campbell to Mountain View and it's worth it! Wendy interacts with all the children even my little one who doesn’t always participate, but does make her feel welcome and always part of the group. I highly recommend Kindermusik with Wendy N.
