I have used Grethel for organization but decided to call her in for mural work in my son;s nursery. I coudn't be happier with the results. The nursery is precious - the mural really completed the room. She is very professional, efficient and does incredible work. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Grethel does wonderful murals. I asked for a big tree in the corner of our playroom with lots of fuzzy animals and fairies. I wanted it feel like my daughter and I were sitting under a tree surrounded by wildlife when we sat in what we call our 'reading corner'. Grethel gave us the most amazing mural with everything we wanted even that feeling of being outside with nature. My 2 year old calls the mural "my tree" and loves to look and find all the little creatures living in her tree. I find myself trying to come up with other projects just so I can have her come back and paint something wonderful for us again. She also helped us get our garage and flex room organized back in August of 2008. We were very pleased with her hard work and great ideas to make those spaces manageable. I would highly recommend Grethel for any of her services. She is super creative and very dedicated to making her clients happy.

I posted a request for recommendations for an artist to do a mural in my son's nursery. Many of the repsonses referred me to Grethel Berry of In Balance Decor, and after working with her, I understand why. She is a true professional and a very talented artist. We are VERY happy with my son's mural. We had a big birthday party for his older sister this weekend, and the nursery was the talk of the party. Best of all, the baby smiles every time we take him into his room and you can see his him really taking in the art around his room. What we had Grethel create was the top half of the walls above water and the bottom half below water. For example, on one wall we have a little boy fishing in a row boat, and you can see the worm and fish under the water. THANK YOU Grethel for the excellent work. Grethel helped me pull off a surprise 55th wedding anniversary for my in-laws. She painted props, made table decorations, did the power point of pictures, etc. Everything she did was beyond expectation. She is extremely creative and her artwork is amazing. She is also very sweet and takes great pride in doing a fantastic job. She always goes the extra mile. I highly recommend her for any project you have in mind!!

I had no idea how talented and creative Grethel was until she made a canvas out of our walls. What a transformation she has made in our playroom with her creative organization and art ideas. She is very professional and neat in her workspace. When something did not look right, she fixed it until she was happy with it. I can not say enough great things about this process and how pleased we are with the end result. The attention to detail surpassed my expections and I will DEFINITELY use Grethel again for any organizational and painting/mural creation needs. Especially considering I had NO idea what I wanted, Grethel helped my husband and I come up with a plan that was exactly what we wanted. The help that I have gotten from In Balance Decor is something I thought I could never achieve, my clutter has cut down tremendously, she helped me redecorate my girls rooms and they look great.
