About Doula Hallie:
I was called to work with pregnant women after the birth of my daughter in January 2007. Through my personal experience I learned the importance of having knowledge about pregnancy, labor and birth, and the value of a positive support system. This has led me to pursue certifications for being a Labor Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Lactation Educator. I believe that birth is a sacred event, and I am always honored to be part of it. I also has a love for helping fathers/partners become involved on their comfort level, creating memories and strengthening family bonds. I have experience with birth in both hospitals and birth centers, as well as with natural birth, water births, medicated, and cesarean birth. I am certified in CPR, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) and am in training as a Birth Assistant at Breath of Life Birth Center in Largo.
Hallie was my doula for the birth of my son. It was because of her, that I believe I had the best birth possible. She was always there to help me with the delivery, but also help my family know what to do. Even during my pregnancy, I could always go to her with my questions. She also was an immense help afterward making sure breastfeeding and my recovery were going well.
