We love Yo Baby and also Yo Toddler and Yo Kid. Both of my kiddos love, love, love it. My son knocks out a whole container at a meal, my daughter didn't always finish.
My baby is almost 11 months and we are starting to feed him yogurt. How much yogurt a day do you recommend I feed him? Are there any brands your baby likes better than others?
Thanks!

YoBaby is what my grandson ate. He would usually have two for breakfast.
If it was a snack, just one. He did not have it everyday for breakfast.
Sometimes he had it for lunch. Tried to vary his diet.
I'm going to go against what everyone has recommended. Any flavored yogurt is loaded with sugar, which a baby doesn't need. I recommend whole milk PLAIN yogurt. Greek style is best - has more protein and it's thicker, so it stays on the spoon better. Some brands are better than others, so taste and enjoy!
I go with Stoneyfield plain whole-milk organic yogurt. It tastes good and it's a lot less expensive to buy 1 large container of yogurt that I can reclose than it is to buy all those little cups.
I agree with Julia. I knew my baby would get a ton of sugar and things throughout her life - I didn't want to start it at 11 months when I had more control.
I like the plain, full fat greek. She did get a few containers of flavored greek yogurt so she got used to the sweetness. I added diced fruit (peaches - easy for her to squish) and a little of the juice it was packed in and then a little stevia if she still wouldn't tolerate it.
I also started making my own yogurt - it's pretty easy, but it's time consuming for me. I actually like my homemade yogurt better than store-bought greek - I only let it culture for about 6 hours so it's not as tart as store-bought.
I used to buy YoBaby.
Greek yogurt would be good as well.
I started giving my son yogurt at about 8 months. I mixed YoBaby with the whole fat Fage greek-style yogurt. He loves it! He gets the food fat from the plain fage, and a little of the flavor with the Yo Baby (but it cuts down on the sugar) sometimes I'll also steam some apples, puree them ,and add them in the fage with some cinnamon. Yum!
My boys all liked the YoBaby yogurt. We really didn't try anything else with them, since the YoBaby was organic. They each ate a whole container of it (but they are small - maybe 4oz?) once a day or once every other day. We also sometimes mixed it with baby cereal to make the cereal more palatable.
My daughter likes the YoBaby (I think Stonyfield is the company) and her favorite is pear/green bean. You might want to start with plain (which has no added sugar) and see if your daughter likes it. Mine did for quite a while.
My son eats lactose free yogurt (it's an organic brand from Whole Foods) due to lactose issues (he is also allergic to soy - poor guy!). He eats about half an adult sized container at a time. I typically eat the other half. :P
My guy ate a small container of YoBaby yogurt at one time.
I just fed my daughter a Tillamook vanilla yogurt. She loves them. She gets about two a week. But, she doesn't have a brand she likes more or less. She likes everything!
Our daughter liked the YoBaby organic yogurt. I can't remember how many ounces they are but they are pretty small and she would usually eat one a day. They have fruit-veggie-yogurt blends too.
We love the yobaby yogurt. Our doc says 4oz of whole milk/dairy a day so at most he gets a cup, but he rarely eats that much of it...usually about half
Regular dannon plain whole fat yogurt. We buy the big tub and she gets a couple of big spoonfuls (adult sized spoonfuls) each morning in a little bowl. Along with some real fruit.
Boy! Times have really changed. We never gave kids milk or yogurt before a child was 1 year old. We were told that giving those to a child before 1 year led to more allergies. Same with strawberries and Peanut Butter.
I know this doesn't answer the question...I'm just making a comment.
