You are lucky! As my OB/Midwife told me sagging is normal and will almost always happen with pregnancy. As for the stretch marks use unrefined or refined organic shea butter. I swear by it, good luck and congrats!!
Hello Ladies!!! I hope you all are having an awesome day!!!!
Well, Im just a little curious and doing some research on great stretch mark creams, and great supportive bras. (I had a breast augmentation 3 years ago and I do not want another one!!!! NO LIFT FOR ME PLEASE!!!) What did you moms do and use?? Now with my first, I didnt get a cream, and too be honest I didnt really use anything to prevent stretch marks. The only thing I did buy was this oil by Clarins, I guess it worked if I didnt get any right? But at the same time, my mom never got one stretch mark, but I am the only child, and I am preggo with my second. I heard that with the second baby its ALWAYS different. So far Im about 6 weeks, I have no symptoms of pregnancy, no vomitting, no headaches, a little plugged up if you know what I mean, no breast tenderness. Im feeling really great! I even took another pregnancy test this morning just to make sure I was pregnant because I feel so great! With my son it was the complete opposite!!!! Now my breasts are a completely different story! Breast feeding really made them huge, but then due to stress and BC my milk practically dissapeared and they deflated, so I got a breast aug. and lift. I need to prevent that buy using a great bra (which I didnt do) The only benefit from my last pregnancy, is no stretch marks, and I only gained 16 pounds, and he weighed 8!! Id love to hear what worked for you ladies!!!! THANKS!!!

You cant provent stretch marks, if you get them you get them. They are called Mommy Marks, if you get them you will learn to love them. As for a supportive bra, I would say anything underwire. I would go somewhere and get measure, but dont be surprised if you need a bigger one in a few months.
OMG you are so lucky. I got tons of stretch marks but I think it has nothing to do with the creams you use ( I used them all) it's more genetics, so if your mom didn't have any I guess you won't have any with this pregnancy either, so that's great!
In this, my second pregnancy, I didn't really have any symptoms either, so I do think every pregnancy is really different. I am gaining less weight with this baby than with my first (but not 16 pound LOL!), and when it comes to breastfeeding I did it for a few months and then I pumped for a while, but I do feel they kind do look a little deflated after that experience LOL!
I have a comment on the stretch marks: I thinks it has a lot to do with heredity--if your mom didn't get them, you probably won't either. My mom had her last kid (my little sister) 18 years ago and she still has the pink/white belly stretch marks. My girl just turned 2 and I have just accepted the fact that I will have my "tiger stripe" stretch marks for the rest of my life. I did use some creams, oils, and lotions while pregnant, but it didn't do anything besides ease some of the itching. :)
As for the breasts, I have no idea. I am rather large-breasted anyways, during BF I went up 2 cup sizes, after BF I am up 1 cup size from pre-pregnancy. I did wear semi-supportive nursing bras (even when sleeping) to keep "the girls" contained. I assume it will be the same with any future kid(s). I am not concerned enough to do any augmentation--they are what they are: breasts. THey work for feeding babies and hubby likes them any shape or size! :)
Well, I think the bottom line is that you're either prone to them, or your not. Sounds like you're in the lucky club that isn't!
You can't prevent them. No lotion or oil or massage or anything can keep them away. They're genetic, and just like nothing can keep them away, nothing can completely get rid of them (apart from cosmetic procedures).
So, enjoy your pregnancy, and with probability on your side, you won't get any SMs this time around either! Lucky duck!
Oh and for the bra, I'd make the investment in a really good one. Go to Norsdtroms or another specialty store and see what suggestions they have. And for the rest, I'm not normally a fan, but the Incredible Bra from VS is WONDERFUL for large breasted women. I'm in love!
I have 3 children and breast implants. Currently breastfeeding my 9 month old. I don't have a single stretch mark anywhere. And my breasts still look good. My mom does not have any stretch marks either nor did my grandmother. If you have good skin elasticity you will not get them. No cream or pill will prevent them, only good genes.

I'm always surprised when I hear that someone had breast augmentation when they were not done having children. I can't understand why the expense when the results will not likely last. In any case, anytime the skin is stretched, stretch marks can appear. While I've heard it's hereditary to get them or not (my mom didn't have them but I got them and so did my sister), there is not anything you can do to prevent them. I rubbed cocoa butter, religiously, all over my body when I was pregnant with my first child because that's what all my friends told me to do to PREVENT stretch marks. Guess what? I got them anyway! So, creams do not work. They do not prevent the skin from stretching but I can tell you the cream works best for the itching that is associated with stretching skin. As for your breasts and needing a breast lift, I can tell you that pregnancy made my breasts huge. I mean HUGE. Once my milk came in, oh my, they were mammoth sized but like all good things that do not last forever, my breasts went back to their normal size, actually smaller than they were before pregnancy with subtle differences that I myself believe could use corrective surgery. And I'm pregnant with my 4th child at the moment and each pregnancy has proven to give me the same results...huge breasts...with added differences after it was all said and done. Not all women get blessed with an endowed chest. My sister's breasts never got big at all. Even when her milk came in. So, every woman is different, every pregnancy can be similar or different but there is no magic formula to determine how much stretching will occur. If you don't gain much weight like your previous pregnancy then you should be okay....good luck!
Well I can't answer to the breast qustion because I was not blessed with near enough to every worry about needing them lifted :) But I will say as far as stretch marks- I say don't waste your money on the expensive creams- just use your regular lotion to stay soft but if the stretch marks are gonna come-they are gonna come. I will say that if you didn't get any first time around that is probably a good sign. Also- I will say- wow only 16 lbs- CRAZY- is that healthy? If so- great job!
I had a breast aug in 2003. I have had two kids since, breastfeeding them both for a total of 2 years. I gained 20 pounds with each child. No stretchmarks although I was expecting to get them because I have them on my hips. My body did not get any bigger with baby two vs baby one. I used a regular nursing bra and my breasts are still cute.
I used a well reviewed fairly expensive cream every single day and suddenly when I was 7 months along or so, stretch marks galore! everywhere!! sigh. so i dont think creams work. its mostly genetics and you sound like one of hte lucky ones!
I truly believe that no cream in the world will prevent stretch marks. If you are going to get them, you are going to get them. Key is keeping your weight gain "steady and normal" - eating healthy and often. The creams help keep your skin soft and less itchy, that is about it. I honestly wouldn't waste the money. If you do get something, get something inexpensive. I've had babies, and no creams ever and no stretch marks. I understand it to be hereditary. Also, I gained 35+ pounds with each pregnancy and not a mark.
Not sure on the boobs! Mine only ever got to C's, so I have never had an "overgrowth" problem in that area!
I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy - what a wonderful time!
You may be one of the lucky ones with the stretch marks. I did not get any with all four. I only used lotion occasionally....just the regular jergens type.
I have not found a comfy/supportive bra yet, sorry i am no help there...lol!
Congratulations on your second pregnancy! I only have daughter, and I plan on no other children. I was very paranoid about stretch marks when I was pregnant with her, so I was told to use olive oil. I used to rub it on all my tummy at night time (and other places known to get stretch marks), so that the excess oil would come off on my pajamas and not on my everyday clothes. It worked! No stretch marks. The friend who recommended this to me also was taught to drink some daily. I don't remember why she was told that, but she did both. I didn't. She also told me before that when she took baths, she would poor it in the water. I hardly ever take baths, so I didn't do that either. I hope some of this info helps you and works for you. Good luck.
