I am VERY fortunate to be a stay at home mom, however, I live here alone with my husband and our son, but no other family, which makes it hard for any alone time. I have a great friend that will watch my son for me if I need her help, but she has 2 children under the age of 2 herself. So my question is, if anyone knows of someone that could help me out here and there, whether it be so I can go get a haircut in peace or so my husband and I can go out to dinner by ourselves, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! There may be a MOMs group in your area that you can join. Sometimes within the MOMs group there is a group of moms who babysit eachother's kids for the very reasons you stated. They call it a Babysitting Co-op.
Look up MOMs on the internet in Avondale, AZ to see if there's a chapter there.

Hi A. my name is S., I would be willing to help you out and watch your son when you needed. I run an in home daycare in Goodyear right next door to Avondale. I have taken care of children for 14 years now and have 2 of my own as well. I have a 21 month old son and a 8 year old son. I also watch children over night for the parents who want to get away for the night and/or weekend. Dear A., I'm also a stay at home Mom, married, with one son of two years. I too don't have any family around to help out.
