Michaels or any other craft store sells paint made especially for glass. They also sell glass etching tools and stencils... so whichever way you would like to go, they can help.
Have you ever seen in Hallmark or other stores those fun wine or champaigne glasses that have been painted for special occasions? Well, my MIL just turned 50 and we are having a party for her this Saturday. I was at Hallmark today and found a special "50" wine glass that I loved, but she is more of a champaigne person. So I ended up purchasing a flute with balloons and candles on it, but I would like to add my own "50" to it. Does anyone know how or what I am to use to add the "50"?
Thanks!!

just go to any craft store.. they will be able to help you out.. it's not a big deal at all, very easily done.. just ask what type of paint is for glass..
Not sure if you are interested in etching it on the glass. I bought plain wine glasses a couple years ago and used etching glue to put grapes and stuff on them, gave them with a bottle of wine..... possible option that doesn't involve painting and you could use a stencil to get it the way you want. (I like etching because it never comes off.... where as paint could possibly chip due to washing and use)
I would check out a craft store site to see if they would carry anything like that or even Google it. Good luck!
I have done the etching by making a stencil out of Contact paper and then using the Etching cream. You can get it at the craft store.
Pebeo Porcelaine paint....they sell it at Michael's I believe. They have both jars of paint or paint pens. Have fun.
Yep, Pebeo Porcelaine is the best product!
Here's a series of videos on painting glass. It doesn't look hard at all. http://www.ehow.co.uk/video_###-###-####_prime-glass-pain...
Armour Etch is what the etching cream is called. You need to use a stencil made out of something that will stick to the glass...Cricut has vinyl with a sticky side that works great. That way you can paint the etching cream on without having to worry about too much detail.
craft stores sell an "etching" solution. You paint it on, let it sit & then rinse it off. They don't tell you on the packaging, but you have to put it on THICK, or else it will be spotty & you'll have to do it again. :) I learned the hard way.
THINGS REMEMBERED does glass engraving for special occasions!
