I would get a photo flip book or calendar made. Papaerclip the tickets to the corresponding months. Watch the "oh how nice" look on his face change to OH MY GAWD as he flips through and discovers them.

What a great gift! Here's what I would do: Get 6 random, differently shaped objects and hide the tickets in them. For example, put two tickets in a giant box and wrap it, stick 2 tickets to a jar of pickles and wrap it, put 2 in a tiny gift bag, etc. It'll be a surprise every time, and he won't know what hit him!!

Put them in a small box, wrap it, then put that box in a bigger box, wrap it, and then put it in a bigger box and wrap it. Put a heavy rock in it so he doesn't know what it is. Then make it a game of a treasure hunt and take pictures of each place that has a hint of where the next clue is, (meanwhile have the present hidden), and of course the last clue has the directions of where his present is. :-) FUN FUN FUN! You can do this for the kiddos too if you have children. :-D
ENJOY!

What if you wrapped each separately and then put each of the little boxes all inside of a big box?

Wrap them seperatly, but with a little something that represents the team that you are playing.

If it were me, I'd wrap each thing individually, and then stack them from biggest to smallest, then tie a ribbon holding each together. If you use different, but matching paper, it can look really slick. Or...make your own paper! I use paper grocery bags turned inside-out, then draw Christmasy things on it. Or have the kids help decorate the paper. Wrapping made fun!
