Would You Rather...?

I love this game! It really gets me thinking.

For example...

Would you rather have free run of the beautiful great outdoors with NO access to technology, or confined to one indoor room with all the technology you want? You could be as connected as you like, but only through the media.

Share an answer or your own "would you rather..." scenario!

My daughter and I played this when she was little. We often dreamed up even-worse-case-scenarios when trying to make light of something we had to do but didn't wanna.

One of my daughter's best – I still smile over it 30-some years later:

Would you rather go through wash and spin cycle in a washing machine, or drink a pail of boiling medicine!

omg i would SO rather be "off the grid" and out in the middle of nowhere! i'd live a lot longer and happier too! (you don't mention family so i assume although it's no technology, my family would be with me) :)

yes, i have thought about this question before.

Out doors......towards yours.

Would you rather roll everywhere.....Or be able to walk without tiring??

I would rather be able to walk without tiring....personally. It is so freeing to be able to just go...After a good few hours hiking the hills of Seattle, my legs can get pretty sore though!

Adansmama......I was just talking to a friend about moving completely off the grid.........We are strongly thinking about this. It would be amazing if it would really happen. I think I would be absolutely, the happiest I could possibly be!!

being stuck inside hooked up to media - while it would be fun for a day or two...no, sun and air!!

Outdoors for sure! The possibilities and places are endless! So much more fun than being stuck in a stuffy room.

This is our favorite family game right now too....we all play it, take turns asking questions, discussing the pros and cons...and anyone who joins our family for longer than an hour is highly susceptible to being "Would you rathered...???

We keep the box of questions on our dining room table.

However, I'm grossed out by the physical body questions...like would you rather climb a 30' wall of barbs or fall 30' into a bed of broken glass...well, first we would all rather climb....but I don't care for the zit on the end of your nose for a week scenarios.

By far the great outdoors. . .but wait: I shouldn't be able to answer this right now. And as much as I enjoy this, that would be fine. I take my hs classes outside, and get so astonished by the kids who look incredibly uncomfortable about being outside. They've never done it. Amazing.

I keep up with my family through technology, so no tech means I would be giving up communicating with my family. No Thanks! I'll suffer a lack of fresh air and sunshine to stay connected to the people I love.

Totally outdoors. I am so technologically stupid it would be really boring for me to be in a room with only internet and other techy things.

I like both worlds.... and know when to separate them. That is the key.

Would you rather live by a stream and bucket fresh water up to your home every day for your drink and bath, and fight with your neighbor upstream when they cut off your water supply with a dam, or would you rather turn on your kitchen sink and get a glass of water any time you want with a small fee attached for the convenience?
