Would like Reviews on the Flytop Fusion Algebra Program

Hi, my daughter is in 8th grade. We're homeschooling this year. I was wondering if the Flytop Algebra program for the fusion pen is worth the $30. I struggle with Algebra, so I need all the help I can get helping her. The pen itself is impressive and a great way to keep up with technology in the educational area. If anyone has any experience with this particular algebra program, I'd like your opinion on it. Thank you in advance.

What can I do next?

Hi S.: I teach science (chemistry, biology etc.) and maths. Today, algebra is not taught with formulas as I learned it in high school but it is taught more with graphs and calculators. That is a problem for you if you learned it with formulas. I have found so many fabulous algebra websites that you could almost teach everything from one of these. I know nothing about the pen and never heard of it but it could be fabulous for sure. I strongly suggest that you find a fun site for her and see some of the teacher-made web sites also. Many of these web sites would explain completely how to do the problems. Also, sometimes one person can explain a solution and the student doesn't understand but hear it another way and there can be comprehension. Hang in there - go to Annenburg Foudation - they often supply videos on line that really explain. God bless you and your family.

S.,
I have never heard of this algebra program. If it is any good, can you please write me and tell me where you get it so I may look at it and purchase it too as I have one in high school this year. I use to wonder how people could home school especially if they weren't good in one particular subject or haven't gone to school to be a teacher. I, also have 3 grown kids. I was married to the devil and god finally sent me an angel. I thought I was too old to get pregnant but my husband had been in bad relationships and not ever had the blessing of having his own child. So bam! at age 45 I delivered a baby girl. Now that I see how bad the school systems are, and I think about her going to school and getting bullied or tormented, it turns my stomach. My husband is very well educated with 3 degrees. I have none. I own a hair salon and I do hair and it doesn't take alot of brains to do that. But the more I see and hear the more I would like to start thinking about home schooling her when she gets that age. The world is just getting so bad. So how do you do it and how do you know what to do and what do you do about the socializing part of it?
I am really seriously considering it.
Thanks, M.

Not familiar with that one but can recommend others. They cost more than $30 though, but are well worth it.

I heard it's an excellent help for those having trouble in Algebra. I haven't tried it myself. I got my fly pen through the bzz agent program. You can visit www.bzzagent.com to read reviews on their fly pen program. You might find more info on it there. If you need any help manuvuring thru the website, just email me. Read up on the bzzagent site while you are there. You might find it interesting. Email me if you have any questions.
