You definitely need to see a doctor. I doubt it's a tubal pregnancy because the pregnancy test would be positive. Doesn't matter where the pregnancy attaches, you're still pregnant and the hormones will cause the test to be positive.

My daughter had a tubal pregnancy. She tested positive for pregnancy. She was given chemo to dissolve the pregnancy. Without that, the fetus could continue to grow and rupture the tube.

There are many possibilities for not having a period. Only a doctor can make a diagnosis. Please make an appointment.

And stop being worried and scared. Nearly all the reasons for a lack of periods are not life threatening and can be treated.

Ectopic pregnancy will show a positive. In fact, you typically have higher than average HCG levels, which means you would probably show a positive sign SOONER than if implantation occurs in the uterus.

Also pregnancy tests aren't usually wrong if you follow the directions (test with first morning urine, saturate the test strip for a certain # of seconds, sit the test on a flat surface for a certain # of minutes etc), so if you have had several negative results I would assume you are NOT pregnant.

Sick and dizzy might be the flu. But if you are worried, see your doctor. They can do a blood test.

yes, people on here can be needlessly rude. i had no problem understanding your question. if people don't like your writing style they could skip your question, but sadly, there are always a couple who can't pass up the opportunity to "wow" the rest of us with their superiority. however, these types of answers are usually in the minority, as you have seen. you got 6 solid answers out of 8 :) not bad!

but bottom line, only your doctor can really tell you what is going on. it could be stress or a million other things. i do wish you good luck, and hope you feel better!

I've known two people who had tubal pregnancies that went 4-5 months. So, it is possible for it to go well past two months. When the tube burst, it involved incredible pain and massible bleeding....it is a serious medical emergency. I also have a friend whose home pregnancy tests always were negative, despite being pregnant.

The bottom line is that you need to see your dr. If you have a tubal pregnancy, he can locate it now and avoid a medical emergency. If you are pregnant, they can tell that with a blood test and/or ultrasound. If it is neither of those, you still need to talk with your doctor about why you have not had a period in two months. Calling your OB/GYN is your best bet.

I had a tubal pregnancy and by this many weeks the tube had ruptured. It would already have done so with you too.

The give away that it has ruptured would be constant horrid pain in the back and rib area. You would not be able to forget about the pain no matter how you sat or laid. Then you'd be gritting your teeth when just moving.

A tubal pregnancy is not one of a very long duration. The tube is about the size of a thin coffee straw and it doesn't take much to stress it and then rupture it.

So I seriously doubt that you have a tubal pregnancy. BUT, BUT, BUT the only way to tell is for the doc to do an untra sound on the tubes to see if they can find something.

I need some more information. These are all questions they're going to ask you when you go to the doctor, so write down the answers to have with you.

Are you on any kind of birth control? What kind? How long have you been taking it? Have you missed or doubled up on any doses?

You say you haven't have a period in nearly two months. Have you had ANY spotting at all?

Are you breastfeeding? How often? Are you weaning baby?

When did the sick and dizzy feeling start? Have you had it at other times since your last period?

Does anything make it better or worse? Like standing up? Or laying down?

Are you having any pain? Can you describe it? Does the pain "go" anywhere?

How bad is it, on a scale of 1-10?

Do you have any allergies?

On any medications, vitamins or supplements? Have you taken them today?

Have you ever missed a period before? Why? Was it related to birth control?

When did you last eat or drink anything? What was it? When and what was your last full meal?

Is there anything else you could share that would help me to understand what has happened?

Feel free to privately message me so you don't air your medical history over MP.

Please get yourself to a doctor as soon as possible. If insurance or money is an issue, go to Planned Parenthood (they are a good resource for any type of female health issue) or a clinic. If you feel you are having an emergency, go to the emergency room or call 911. Something is happening that a doctor will have to figure out.

I had a tubal pregnancy years ago. I felt tired and had abdominal cramping and just spotting. I called the doctor several times and they said unless going through one"pad" an hour, it was nothing to worry about. I finally went to the doctor and they found blood already in my abdomen.

Don't put off going to the doctor.
