Does anyone out there know of any work at home jobs? Something that is not a scam and don't cost alot to get started and of couse to make some money. I just want to get out of my job and find something I could do at home. I have got 2 kids and I am starting to run with all of the sport things and would like to spend more time with them. Thanks for all of your help.

Some thoughts:

1) Avon ($10-$20 start up, not a MLM) and as big or small as you want to make it. I make about $26/month with Avon (LOL!) but I also get a good discount. If you want more info on that, message me. I don't want to SPAM you!

2) If you are into art or crafts, set up an etsy site. A few cents out of pocket and lots of possibilities!

3) If you write well, technical writing. The certification is not a requirement - you just need some contacts who need decent writers. Good writers are not easy to come by!

4) Examine your education & background. My "day job" is in the sciences and there are some people who work for me on call who come in, get data, go home, do the work, email me, etc. I have said this many times....someone who doesn't need to work full-time and doesn't need office space can be a COMMODITY in the current economy. SO look at your education and past experience and talk to anyone you know who is in your field to get ideas.

Good luck!

Be wary when posting something like this. ALL the recruiters on here will hit you up to be on their team, selling, recruiting, parties, blah blah.

Research mamapedia... something like this is asked almost daily and some people have great input, many others try to recruit you.

Think outside the box...... what do YOU like to do, what are YOU good at what do YOU have time for?

Some people love the direct sales, MLM type gigs but expect to work hard if you choose it, expect to run people off because most of us are tired of getting invoices to attend parties, getting the obligatory invoice if a friend (now ex friend) starts this type of thing.

IF you find a job where you can work from home, remember that most companies will want you to have some sort of child care so that you can devote your time to your WORK. Also, it is not professional to hear dogs barking and children playing when on the phone for business.

Good luck to you..

You should never pay anything for a job. The only thing you should ever pay a fee for is a home business. Think of it as buying a franchise at a fraction of the cost. If you are interested in chosing a home business, chose one that has products that are consumable, recession proof, a company where you can leverage your time (build a business), and one that is in current demand. My business covers all the points mentioned and you could make a few hundred a month or replace an income...it's all up to you. Good luck and best wishes.

I could share some info regarding what I do. You wouldn't sell anything but would basically be a marketing executive. Lots of info so if you want to know more (no obligation) go to my website and I will be in touch.
