I am having trouble with my 23 month old son wanting to wear pj's with feet. I have a feeling he probly wont wear them until later or at all. Do other kids his age wear them?

What can I do next?

Sometimes my daughter wants the feet, sometimes not. I found warm, fuzzy pjs ,just like the ones that have feet and zip up, without the feet at Walmart, so now she has both.

My 16 month old doesn't mind at all, and my 6 and 4 yo's like them too. I guess it's just a personal preference thing! :) Maybe he's just trying to exert his independence?

We have two pair of the zip up blanket pj's that don't have feet. I was actually disappointed. My kids don't mind them. My 4 year old LOVES them and doesn't mind the zipper to go the the bathroom. But my 2 year old has the aforementioned non-footie zip ups, and lots of the long-sleeved knit sets. None of them have feet.
It's funny, because my niece who is 10 can't stand to sleep without socks. And she folds her pj's pant leg then stuffs them in her socks. She makes her own footies!
I can't sleep with socks unless it's truly freezing. They bug me to no end!

I don't get what you are asking. Does he like them? Does he not like them? Both of my kids wore jammies with feet right off the bat! I mean newborn age.
My daughter around 2 couldn't stand her feetie jammies anymore.
I have never heard of an age which they wear them.
If he likes them great, they are good to layer in the winter and keep them toasty. If he doesn't like them that is fine too. There are so many jammie choices out there for kids.

My 4 year old still wears them, my 2 year old does and my 7 year old will when I get my hiney over to Target to by the bigger sizes. Each child is different so go with the flow and get some warm sock if he ends up not liking them :).

My 5 yr old son hates them, always has. He sleeps hot, even in the winter he will sleep in shorts and a tanktop and not get cold. My 2 yr old daghter seems to like them, she even tried to wear them during the summer months. I always hated them too. I don't like my feet covered when I am sleeping, except maybe with a blanket, even then I often stick them out. I think the are too restrictive. If a child needs touse the restroom during the night, what a pain. I hate putting them on the kids, but my husband freaks out if I don't. My husband is always arguing with our son about them. I think it is all on the child. I wouldn't force it, put socks on. At that age they usually know to pull the blankets on if they get cold.

My daughter hates them. She wore them all the time when she was younger, but hasn't liked them since she was about a year and a half - she's three now and hasn't grown to like them again yet; maybe someday. Strangely enough, she will wear socks with her pj's to bed and that doesn't bother her at all. Maybe she gets too hot or something, who knows?

My daughter, now 6, has hated them since she could say so. My son, 4, likes em and my 16 mo old doesn't seem to mind either (so far). I myself am a particular person about those things too!

It depends on the kid. He doesn't like his feet covered. Just cut the feet off the pajamas and he will be happy.
