Hi J.. My advice is go to the doctor and at least have it looked at. Better to be safe than sorry.
Alright i don't know if I need to worry about this or not but for about the last 6 months my left breast is very sore to the touch. It is fine if I am just sitting here but any time i bump it or even touch it is very tender. I dont know if i should be concerned or if it is maybe the type of bras i am wearing that is causing it? Please help to let me know if anyone has had this problem before and if I should worry or not? Thank you!!
Hi Everyone...thank you so much for all of your responses!!!! Well i went to the doctor and got some tests done and they did find a lump. they said that it is not cancerous but they are going to watch it to make sure that it doesn't grow. Thank you all again so much for your support and responses...it really helped out a lot!!!!!

You may have an infection- I'd go to the doc. That's not normal. Good luck
just to feel better you should go to the doctor, just to see what it is. Its beter to be safe then sorry, right. I don't want to scare you but my mom had a problem like what you have. She did every thing, change her dite, bras any and every thing she could think of. Well, she went to the doc. and it was breast cancer. the doc. got it early but still go see your doc. just to be safe. I hope every thing is okay. I'll pray for you. If you need help or any questions heres my email ____@____.com
when i was 22 i was planning to be married in april and i had a 3 and a half year old little boy! what a coincidence! anyway, my breasts were very tender too. it hurt just to hug someone! i was 22 when i had this problem. i went to the family dr and she said that the amount of caffieine could cause it. i later found out that it might have been by birth control. i was on the patch and i wore it on my arm and shoulder bllade. i moved it to my hiney and the pain eventually went away. i even went to a breast dr. he said there was nothing there to be concerned about. i do know how you feel. it really was sore just to wear a bra sometimes to lay on my stomach.
Hello! I agree with everyone else, you should go have it looked at. It is better to be safe then sorry. Okay! I hope my advice helps you in someway. Thanks for listening. Bye!

If it was me, I would definitely have a doctor look at that. It seems that we can get infections and inflammations in any part of the body.
It may be your bra... are you wearing one to sleep in? I don't want to worry you, but pain usually means something is wrong... I really hope not, but it's always better safe than sorry and I would recommend you see your doctor, just in case. Better to catch it earlier than later if something does end up being wrong. Good luck!!!
I don't know that you should worry too much, but I would definitely suggest going to the doctor about it. Any sort of long term pain or tenderness that doesn't go away is a signal that something could be wrong. Don't want to freak you out, but there are more and more women finding out they have breast cancer at an early age. I have a friend who found a lump while pregnant at the age of 25. She's doing great now, but had to have the baby early (also doing great), a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. She's now in remission (sp) and considering reconstructive surgery. My point is that hopefully it's just your bra or something minor. But...there is no need to take a risk with your health. After all you do have two special people who want you around as long as possible. Not all breast cancers start with a lump. There are other signs and symptoms as well. Look up Inflammatory Breast Cancer on the net and look at those signs and symptoms. Now there could be other reasons such as mastitis if you were breastfeeding or a plugged duct. However, you won't know for sure unless you see a doctor.
Hope this helps.
I would definitely be booking an appt with a doc. I was thinking you might have mastitis, but obviously you don't have babies to be breastfeeding! It's better to be safe than sorry. You never know. It's definitely not normal. Do you do self breast exams monthly? Have you tried just not wearing your bras (wearing a sports bra, etc. instead)? Still, I would try to see a doc about it. Breast cancer is scary stuff and, as with any cancer, the sooner you catch it, the better. good luck and I hope to hear good news. M.
I would agree with everyone make an appt. ASAP. It's always best to get checked out better safe than sorry later on.
Does it only happen before your period that happens. I can't wired bras b/c they cause bruising but I do anyways b/c I need some support.
Good luck,
L.
If you nursed or are nursing, you might have mastitis (an infected milk duct). If you aren't, you might have a breast cyst. Either way, you might have something that is uglier - you really need to see a doctor to get it checked out. Especially with a little boy to take care of.
Good luck.
maybe your pregnant?
Hi! YES! Please be worried. I know that people are diffrent but, the symtoms that you have discribed are the same as the ones that best friends mother had. Although hers had been acting up like that for a few years, she finaly went to have a mammogram. There was a mass, they did a biopsy and it was stage 2 cancer. I sencerly hope this is not the case with you, but please do not put off seeing a doctor !!! Its always good to be a little parinoid when it comes to your breast.I would advise seeing a doctor. Better to be safe then not. I will be praying for you. If you would like to talk to me some more please feel free to email me anytime. at ____@____.com
