Planning a trip to Vegas in March. In the past month or two flight prices have increased. Will the prices dip at all after the holidays or should I jump on tickets now?
Thanks!

What can I do next?

My cousin just booked a flight from Michigan to Texas in Jan. for $59 both ways. She was stoked to find the deal.

I just wanted to agree to jump on tickets if you find a good price! I went last April and we checked flights pretty early out and they didn't really change too much. Also, the direct flights are at wacky times going out of KCI so if you find one you like and it's a good price, get it! As someone else mentioned Vegas will be full of people for March Madness, it's a pretty popular time to go!

Check out farecast.com. They will predict if the price will drop or go up a certain amount of time before the travel (I think it's usually a couple of months prior to travel). I think it's to only certain locations, but it's common locations.

They probably won't dip until after the holidays.

However,Southwest has some great deals with 1 way starting at $39 to certain places. My hubby travels a lot and especially to Houston from Dallas. I book his flight way out in advance and he has been flying to Houston for slightly over $100 for the last 5 months. Check the web only deals and most are 21 days in advance. There are some blackout dates.

Also, I was amazed when just last week we found out he has to go to Atlanta from Dallas. I expected to pay heavily for the ticket but I booked him on American for less than $200 round trip.

I deal directly with American and Southwest websites. Sometimes you can really luck into a deal. Good luck Vegas is fun!!

It's doubtful they will. March is a pretty big time in Vegas due to "March Madness". People like to go out there during the tournament to watch and bet on games. Plus, that is Spring Break time as well. Good luck!

We waited for the dip but didn't happen they went up and the good flt times were sold out. Hard to say but "experts" always say look up flts on a Tuesday and check after midnight for specials. Try sidestep.com. Goodluck. We ended up driving to Vegas.
