I am expecting my baby in July and will have a 3 month maternity leave. I am already anxious about finding great in home daycare for my baby. I want to avoid daycares so I am looking for suggestions over the next few months. I am really hoping to get some good recommendations of well-trusted in home child care for a newborn. I live in Saint Petersburg and would prefer to find somewhere close to me.

Hello H.!
I am in the process of getting licensed to start my ownat-home home daycare. My goal is to find a few mothers with younger children(preferably babies!)- and watch them grow together along with my own! If your interested in looking ahead...feel free to contact me for references/rates and to set up an interview. Good luck and God Bless!

I don't see any mention of what area you live in. I would definitely go by referrals though. When I used a home daycare a few years ago, all I had to go by was the list sent by Coordinated Child Care. I found a lady who seemed really great at first. Then she did some questionable things and with her being alone in her house with the kids, there was no supervision, no one to prove or disprove anything I reported seeing. They sent someone to check on her, but of course she was on her best behavior while they were there.
I am in-home provider in N. St Pete, near 77th Ave N and 16th St N. I also have pre-school program. I have one opening for infant and 2 openings for toddler. Please call to schedule interview: ###-###-####
