There are many wii games but my son loves epic mickey and super smash bros brawl. He also likes new super mario bros wii. Skate it wii is also good.
We'd like to send a Wii game as a gift to our teen and adult relatives in Brasil. They speak very little English. They have the sports game that came with the unit. Any suggestions? (Note: FIL will be visiting soon, so he'll take it with him - no shipping)

Wii Resort has a good range of different games all in one. We love it. Not sure how much you were wanting to spend but we also love the Wii Fit.
Maybe you can send an Amazon Gift Card (if they ship internationally) for like $50 or something...then they can order whatever one they would like. We had a freind's son who was in the hospital, and we sent him it by email (no charge and the email was sent immediately so no wait) telling him to use it for a Wii game he wanted...he enjoyed deciding as much as he enjoyed the game.
If you are set on picking one - Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit (though you need the board, too, which may be spendy to send), all the Mario games (especially winter Olympics) seem to be most popular with out group of friends. My husband wants Black Ops...but a little touchy on the graphic nature of the game..
My kids love Wii Party, fun for all.
Some of the games are intuitive and don't require "reading" it.
Some games, may have some reading to do to play it.
My daughter's games, some of them have reading along with it... during the game, for example. Prompts, directions, choosing players, etc.
So the 'sports' type games, are pretty much can be played with guessing, since it is intuitive.
Try going to www.gamestop.com to read about the various Wii games, and what it is about.
Or go to a game store, and ask them, which ones, can be played without really 'reading' per say.
send "Just Dance" or "Just Dance 2", so much for anyone
