He's teething.
Some babies, when teething, get a lot more saliva.
Use a bib around him.
My son, was similar and for a time we had to have a bib on him for most of the day. Or it would get all over his onesie.
or ask your Ped.
So my little guy who is now 8 months seems to be spitting a lot more suddenly. He has no fever, is happy but is just puking a good bit. He had some reflux as a newborn baby, but that cleared up and he has been ok, but now he is spitty. He is teething, has two little ones on the bottom and working on some up top. Could that be contributing, like just having more drool etc? I have never really heard that, but it was all I could think of. I have added more food to his diet. I mean he has been on rice since 6 months and he has a little 2nd foods meal midday and then some veggies and maybe a fruit in the evening. But some days he just eat solids once, some days twice, just depends on the day, his main source is breast milk. Any ideas?

Depends, is he just spitting up the breast milk or food also? My middle child started spitting up around 2 months and I got sick of it. She was put on so many meds for reflux so we put her on whole milk. Now I don't suggest doing this, but it is quite normal for spit up. I would just advise the doctor and also maybe see about some herbs your child can take. They have so much out there you'd probably be surprised!
Good Luck!
When my 10 month old son is teething he gets that way. He got his first teeth at 3.5 months and since then has been getting them 2 at a time. I became concerned about the puking and called the dr and he told me that will happen with multiple teething. As a matter of fact he started that again yesterday and has been pretty miserable and not sleeping well the last few days. So last night I gave him some motrin and he slept very well until 5:30 this morning. He is now sleeping soundly.
He does not handle the heat very well and if he drinks alot of formula he will also spit up alot and its chunky, so on super hot days he gets more regular food until he is in ac and then he will drink the formula.
My babies would get more pukey in the heat. I think the milk curdled in their tummies. Just a thought.
