Alternatively.... is anyone looking for a great 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a den, big balcony overlooking a park, all stainless steel appliances, and hardwood floors, that's only about two years old?

Sandy Heinlein in Palatine, Baird and Warner, ###-###-####, they are right up the street at NW Hwy and Quentin, very good friend of my family. - I have always thought about getting my license and working w/her (she's a broker, not just an agent and is one of their top salespeople --she's more of a seller's agent than a buyer's although she does both) She'll cut to the chase and is very good at what she does. I can also recommend that you work with someone who specializes in your area, has many years in the business and is prospering even in a slow market. Having someone in Palatine, who represents Palatine, is a plus. And someone who is actively marketing your house/condo ---I don't know which buildings you are in, but I LOVE the downtown area, so hopefully you'll sell quickly, otherwise, put that silly little statue in a potted plant on your balcony ;)

He has been a successful agent for a very long time. You are right - in this market you need to use a very good agent. Things ARE selling. Just price it right and make it look great!

We just moved to Palatine (literally last week --although I think maybe we live in Rolling Meadows/Palatine?). Anyway we used Jeanne DeSanto as our seller's agent. She was really excellent.
