So What Happened?

We will be having his birhday party at the local pool. I had to postpone until the pool had openings, but I think he doesn't mind. The family went bowling the night of his birthday, with cake and pizza.
Thanks for all your suggestions and help!

Laser tag can be a lot of fun. One place where we have had b-day parties is Shadowland. Good luck.

We take our boys bowling, or to the YMCA for rock climbing. I also had a Mad Scientist come one time and did some experiments for an hour then we had pizza and cake. I try limit the total time to 2hrs or so.

We have had birthday parties @ a fire station. It is both a learning opportunity and fun for the kids.
Bowling parties also are very easy as well.

Hi!
Definbately try and call and book asap. I would recommend House of Bounce, Sport Bounce in Loudon County or Pump It Up, or Kids n Motion. You ont have to worry about the weather since they are all indoors, the boys can get their energy out and parents can chit chat etc. You only get about 45 mins in party room so enough time for cake and juiceboxes or whatnot...

Some of our best parties were at our local nature center or a park. One year we played baseball and barbecued in the snow. Only the grown people complained. Some boys have never been hiking and that is a novelty.

Have fun.

My Gym has wonderful parties. I know, because I own one and make sure they are fantastic.

If not close to a My Gym, other gyms offer parties too.

7 yrs old is absolutelty the LEGO age!!! If you have a Lego store near you, check to see if they do b-day parties. You can't go wrong. I had to do my own at home but it was a big hit!

We just had my 8 year old daughter's birthday party at the Kettler IcePlex in Ballston. It was a lot of fun and something different.
