You can just do it yourself.
Michaels sells the iron-on letters and numbers.
WAY cheaper (and a LOT faster) than going to a place that does uniforms (usually a screen printing or embroidery place)
Hi Ladies!
I have been wanting to make a very simple T'shirt for my Dad from the Grandchildren for awhile. I found a few websites in the past but was never happy with the end product right before ordering...so never ordered. Anyone know of a great, reputable website or place to go in person?
Thanks ladies for any advice!
Thaks so far! I will check out the websites. We did try the iron on letters twice before...I could never get it to stay stuck:(
Okay so I'm definitely going to have to give the fabric paints a try...never even thought about it! Great ideas.
If the paint doesn't go well...both websites look promising! Thank you!!

Try doing it yourself!! It is really easy... I did it with my daughter when she was 2.
I picked up a heavy weight white t-shirt, letter stencils and fabric paint in tiny spray cans.
We decided what we wanted to write and then my daughter helped put the letter on (they were peel off stickers). SHe then chose paint colors to spray all over the shirt. Note: put a layer of carboard in between the layers of the shirt so the collors do not go through and paint the shirt together. Once the paint dried she helped peel off the letters and the shirt was done. I ran it through the wash, saw that it stood up just fine and off it went.
Since the paint is permanent do it in old clothes and on top of newspaper to protect your work surface.
Seriously easy! And home made by the kids so it is that much more special!

I have used cafe press and am always super happy with the results.
I do this myself every other year with my children for my husband and have done one for my father as well. I take the "puffy paint" fabric paint, get a heavy duty t-shirt, sleeveless shirt or what not in a light color. I have done a tan, grey and a white one. If they are small enough I paint the bottom of my kids feet and have them walk on the t-shirt with some assistance. I then write "I/We walk all over my/our dad, Pop" or any other name they may use.
Last year I used my kids hands, my son had one with just 2 hands that said "Best Dad Hands down", my daughter did one that said "I got my daddy wrapped around my fingers"
He loves the personal touch and wears them for awhile and we put them away for the kids later.
