I recently went to a birthday part(one-year olds') that was held at a community center, actually not far from norristown. They got a small hall for about 3 hours , decorated and it was really nice.
Hi,
My daughter will be 2 years old in 2 months, and I still don't have many ideas about what to do for her. For her 1st birthday, we had a great party at a restaurant/banquet hall with about 40 people with sit down lunch which was way too expensive. We have a small house, so we can't really have many people here at all. So even though I want to have a smaller party this year with just close family and friends, our house is still too small to have those few that we really want to invite. If it was nice out at the end of December, we could do it in our backyard and patio, but it will be too cold by then. I live in Norristown, PA and not sure where we can have an affordable but very nice and fun party that we can have about 25 people. Can anyone help me?
Thank you!
We decided to have a little Sunday afternoon party at our house with just babies and moms, and my girlfriends, no husbands or boyfriends. I thought with this idea, it will be more fun because girls would have more fun and guys with little girl's birthday party. Also, I will have just enough room for the ladies and babies only!
Thank you all for your ideas and tips!

Check out your local fire houses. That's what we did for our son's first birthday and we'll probably do it again for his second.
If you're having more adults than children you might try Peppers in King of Prussia or Ray's Diner in East Norriton. If you're having more children than adults, or want the party to be more "child oriented", you might try renting a local church hall where you can set up games for the kids. Good luck!
Hi Jin,
I live in Eagleville and I was thinking that the Chuck E. Cheese in Berwyn might work out for you. They have prices on their website, but they vary depending on location and when the party is scheduled. I know that you get a better deal if you do the party during the week, like Monday-Thursday. From my house this Chuck E. Cheese is around 20 minutes away, I don't know where in Norristown you are, so it might be a little further for you. I don't know how far you want to go, but I have been to this place several times just to play and we have really enjoyed it. It's just a thought, if you want to check it out, here's a link... http://chuckecheese.com/parties/birthday/birthday-details...
