IKEA has them. In the children's dept. upstairs. I don't know if they work with their easels only or maybe they work for different ones. Hope that helps:)
What stores carry them? Please & thanks!

Michaels, Hobby Lobby, IKEA, Toys R Us....
Ikea. Just there yesterday. Cheap.
Ikea sells them and I would think that most school supply stores would as well.
I just went online to see if you have a Blicks in Arizona and found Arizona Art Supplies. I would call them and ask and if they don't have it, ask if they know where you can get it. The employees are usually artists of some sort and should be familiar with the stock in other art stores.
hobby lobby, michaels, joannes, toys r us might also have them.
Michaels, just bought mine there.
If you're not near an IKEA, Melissa & Doug make a roll and I just saw it at both our local independent toy store and Toys R Us.
butcher paper roll at Sam's club its bigger and cheaper per foot then buying the paper that is labeled art paper. its the same even my dr. buys the rolls from there for the patient tables its cheaper than the paper they sell for the tables.
Ikea in their children section of the store. They sell easels too for only $15.
You can also get newspaper rolls from the local newpaper, you can get the end rolls which is usually a good amount, some give a free end roll a day, some take $$ for donation etc. Where we are it costs between $1-5 depending on the size of the roll all of which get's donated to a local charity.
Most of my other suggestions have been said
I found it at Toys R Us. It's hit or miss. I actually got 3 rolls of Melissa and Doug for pretty cheap from the internet. I just googled easel roll paper and it came up and it was cheaper than anywhere else. I do like the idea of the butcher paper. I think it would be a lot thicker good for paints!
