Where to Get Generic Allegra?

So Allegra has gone over-the-counter. There's plenty of the brand-name kind available, but no generic--this makes zero sense to me, as I've been on the prescription generic version for years...at a much, much less expense than the name-brand. My insurance will no longer pay for either the generic or name-brand. But it looks like I'm stuck paying almost a $1 a pill for the name-brand because no one seems to be selling the generic. Bah! Anyone know of where I can buy the generic at a low cost? Everything I've Googled shows "generic" that is really just the brand-name. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I just checked Costco. They have the brand name, over the counter for 34.99 for two 45 count bottles. .39 cents a pill! :)

My pharmacy at Target told me it would be awhile before the generic comes out for this. You'll probably have to call your insurance and get it approved to still have them pay for generic.

Look for anything that has Fexofenadine as the main ingredient.

That is the antihistimine used in Allegra.

Allegra-D is Fexofenadine w/Pseudoephedrine which is antihistimine w/a decongestant. That would be behind the pharmacy counter but no script needed.

I take Allegra D, or the generic formula. That is not over the counter so i can still get it perscription and cheaper. Good luck .
