Have you asked the hospital staff? They probably know people who are specialized in that type of care.
Hi all,
I posted a bunch of baby shower questions about a month ago. Then my baby came at 26 weeks. She is doing well in the NICU. She is very strong. She only weighed 1.14 labs but is coming along just fine, actually remarkably well!
When she comes home she will still be small (probably about 6 lbs by the time I want a sitter), need a breathing treatment and possibly be on an apnea monitor. Do any of you know anyone experienced with preemies who might be available for part- time mid-day care 3 days a week? I would prefer someone in the Lewisville, FM vicinity.
Thank you,
Case

Congratulations on your new arrival. This is not about the nanny but I just wanted to make sure you knew that your child qualifies for a program that moniters development called Follow Along because of the low birth weight. If you do not have information about ECI you can call 800-628-5115 to find your local program.

Congratulations on your little blessing.
Hi C.,
How is your precious little girl doing? I too had a preemie baby girl though at 25 weeks. She weighed 1.12 lbs. We ran into complications while she was in the NICU but thank god she is doing well and we are still working on the results of her complications. She is also very strong willed. I guess they have to to survive being born so early!!!
Hope to hear from you!
Thanks,
C.
