We are going to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks and we are staying at the Paris. We want to eat at some good restaurants but, we also want to eat at places that are affordable, especially at lunch time. Can anyone recommend some good lunch places and also some good restaurants for dinner? What about shows?

What can I do next?

My husband and I were there in February and had always heard about how cheap you could eat there but we were shocked at what it cost to eat. We found one place that was reasonable called Ellis Island and it's not too far from Paris. We stayed at Bally's which is right next door to Paris and we walked to Ellis Island. We were there for a convention and didn't have a lot of free time to explore. We heard there were some good buffets but I don't know where they were. No fast food joints within walking distance that we ever saw. There is a 7 Eleven next to Ellis Island where you can get snacks.
Oh, the Eiffel Tower after dark is a must!

I always go to google and search "eat cheap Las Vegas".

This will give you some good sites. There are some casinos that have cheap meals that they dont advertise. Also, the downtown casinos still have cheap meals as opposed to strip prices.

We just went in late June. As far as shows go, wait till you get there and go to a Tix4Tonight booth. They sell remaining tickets for that nights shows at great prices. We saw Blue Man Group at 40% off and it was awesome. They also sell vouchers that you can buy for $3. Then you get a great discount at a restaurant of choice. We did The Range restaurant (a wonderful steakhouse that overlooks the strip) and got 40% off our entrees. Have fun!

If you like Asian food, there's a great place called Noodles in the Bellagio. It's surprisingly affordable and so yummy! For dinner, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant is an amazing choice. My husband and I had dinner and drinks there and it was about $100 for the both of us. The view is spectacular and the food is awesome. As far as entertainment, you can't miss with the Blue Man Group or Cirque. For free entertainment, be sure to watch the fountain show at the Bellagio! They have a lovely setup inside too.

Have a great time!

Hi K.,

You could easily miss this. On the side street of the Paris Hotel they offer a free shuttle to and from Rio Hotel and Casino that is off the strip. Unless they have changed their schedule they offer this all day till midnite or later. Now at Rio they have the Carnival World Buffet which is AWESOME and pretty inexpensive (lunch $16.99)it will blow your mind at how much food and how great tasting it all is. I highly recommend it!! They also have about 15 other restaurants with specific types of food. Since this hotel and casino is also off the strip. I gambled there and it seemed that I won more there than on the strip! Don't miss the parade floats that hang from the ceiling there.
(check the schedule for this)!!

Have fun!!!

They have the normal stuff such as Chipotle,Panda Express,McDonalds......they are still alittle bit more than you would pay here but not to bad. I know quite a few of the buffets are good. Alot of times if you join the member thing at the casino they will give you free buffet coupons.
