Dear Aarti
I love reading magazines but don't have the extra funds to buy them. I could pick them up. I live near Schaumburg.
Thank you

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can donate magazines. They are ofcourse back issues but never been read. I hate to just throw them in the recycling bin. My local library doesn't take them. So where do I go with them? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you very much.

Drop them off at the local school! They would love you for them!
That's awesome of you!! What about a school for art projects, a nursing home, hospital or day care center (for the teachers who are on limited income and may not be able to afford a magazine)?
Take the magazines to your local Doctor or Dentist office. You can even try local hospitals or shelters. If you have a Jewel, Aldi, CVS, Dominicks, or any work place close by, maybe for there breakrooms. Try Senior housing also
Hello Aarti
You could bring them to you local train station, most of the stations have a used book and magazines rack for the riders to read and return.
How about your drs office or a retirement community.
You could also post them on www.freecycle.org or list them on www.craigslist.com
You can also take them to Half Price Books (halfpricebooks.com) and they may give you a dollar or two. They either resell them or donate them to schools. I do that with ours and let dd pick out a book for her with the money.
