The have kid oriented furniture but regular twin beds as well. You might even think of going to a full bed depending on space. Sometime the extra room is a blessing. The prices are reasonable as well.
My kids are both about ready to move up from their toddler beds to a twin bed. They've also never had a dresser or nightstand, so we want to buy those too. We've been to Jordan's Furniture, to Bernie and Phyll's and to Bob's. Where else could we look? Thanks!
We looked online at Rotman's and fell in love with a set there. Looked around more online to see where else it might be sold and found out who made it and found there is a shop in Newton that sells JUST that brand! So we went there this weekend and bought the stuff we wanted. They were so helpful there - answered emails friday super fast and were helpful when we were there saturday. It was great and the furniture looks very well made. Tons of colors to pick from too. They havent delivered the furniture yet, but so far I'd totally recommend them. http://www.yakidsfurniture.com/youngamerica_shop.html

We bought our daughter's furniture at Rotman's, but I made the classic mistake of buying "really sweet and cute" furniture. They delivered it, and assembled it - they were great, really - but I didn't really look at it for a couple of days. It was all great-looking, but...the drawers in the chest of drawers and the underbed drawers were kind of rough (I worry that they might snag her tights), and not nearly deep enough. But then it was too late to return it.
I hope this helps.
We ordered our online at www.kidsfurnituremart.com. They had free shipping and we are very happy with our purchase.
A second vote for IKEA.
We got stuff at Rotmans in Worcester. You could also try Boston Interiors.
