Where Do You Shop?

I LOVE the clothing in Pyramid Collection, but I won't buy from a company that endorses wican and paganism. Where can I find similar styles without the religious attachment?

OK...After reading the responses I received so far I need to add something. Due to MY religious beliefs I will NOT buy something from a company that is openly AGAINST my beliefs. If you think this is stupid fine...don't respond...laugh if you want and move on like I do with some of the questions I read on here. Please don't mock MY beliefs while telling me it's not OK to mock others.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Wow! That's enough. If you still have suggestions please feel free to let me know. This was not intended to be a religious debate. I do see how I brought that on by singling out a couple of religions myself. If you practice paganism or wiccan I'm sorry if I offended you. Thank you to the moms who understand not supporting something you don't believe in. I do know what the other religions are I have studied them. I also know what the Bible says about worshiping anyone or anything other than Him. It's the very First of the commandments. That includes "Mother Earth". I simply wanted to find some cute clothes. Really. I'm sorry.

She never said anything about witchcraft or devil worship. Those of you who mocked her put those words in her mouth. How about YOU be the ones to grow up and not be so quick to get on the defensive when you're the ones wrongly understanding what she said?

I agree w/Marda - it's about supporting the company and their cause. It makes perfect sense to not want to do this when their belief system runs counter to yours. Kudos to you for realizing that a purchase extends beyond you. Just because you like it doesn't change what the product is, where it comes from, or the philosophy of the people who are behind it, so it's prudent to consider what you're supporting. Not everyone does, though - obviously.

That said, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure where you can find the style. I just wanted to address the awful responses you received. Some of these women will be the first to criticize others on here for doing the same thing: jumping on people when they misinterpret what is said or don't have all the information.

I am not familiar with the clothing shop that you stated but just wanted to say that I think it is WONDERFUL that you are standing up for your religious rights and your right to shop wherever you want and for whatever reason! I wish I could be of help-but just wanted to say it is so refreshing to see someone with a backbone! Have a great day!

Good for you for standing up for your beliefs. Don't those rude mothers know that when you purchase from a company that violates your beliefs that you are helping to fund those beliefs? It's the opposite of buying from green companies because we agree with being green. We are good citizens when we support that which we believe in and don't support that with which we don't believe in.

I, too, don't know where to buy these syles?

I totally support you buying clothes based on your beliefs. It is disrespectful of other people to mock what you believe and feel. It's an individual decision.

I'm a cheap clothing buyer of late - Target or TJ Max is where I buy most of my stuff;-)

Oh my, what rude and childish responses you have received!! I wonder if they would be as put off, if you didn't want to buy from a company that endorsed christianity.

Holy rude moms!! She never said that they worshiped Satian. Get over yourselves and thinking that she was accusing Pagens of devil worship. All she said "Endorses wican and paganism." Not "endorses devil worship and human sacrifice."
K. google whimsical clothing. Hopefully you can find what you like. And ignore the bitchy women. They are awesome clothes! I checked out their website and loved some of what they had.

I think the reason you're getting these responses is because you apparently think it's ok to denounce an entire group of people by saying you "won't buy from a company that endorses x." What do you think the reaction on here would be if you said "I won't buy from a company that endorses Jews?" You likely offended a much smaller demographic than if you HAD said Jews, or Lutherans, or Catholics, or whatever. But broad general statements like the one you made are dangerous and often hurtful to someone.

I'm sure that wasn't your intention but you need to expect this kind of reaction when you throw out such a careless statement.

By the way their clothes are super cute, I just checked them out...not sure what other site could compare though.

I am not mocking your beliefs, just to be clear. Everyone has a right to their beliefs. I respect that. With that said, I think you'll run into the problem, that a lot of clothing compaines will go against your beliefs. A lot of places (I would say most, actually) make their clothing in third world countries. Their working conditions, pay, and treatment are abysmal. Many companies have been caught using children for labor. These are against my ethical beliefs. (And I don't believe God is OK with exploiting the poor, so it's against my religious beliefs as well.) You'll have to research clothing companies and businesses, because I've found most are against my beliefs.

Have you tried searching for the type of clothing you like ETSY? I have bought clothing of etsy and feel good about supporting an individual. I have seen lots of clothing like the clothing in Pyramid Collection. Good luck.

They are a Christian company.

And it's made right here in the good ol' USA so no worries about the sweatshop and human rights violations that are in China.
