Where Do You Get a Nap Mat??

So I just enrolled my little guy in a Parent's Day Out program for this fall. It'll just be one day a week, from 9-3. The info sheet says to send them with the normal stuff (lunch, change of clothes, etc), but also says a "nap mat" for naptime. I assume this is like some little folding gym type mat, but have no clue where to go about finding one. Any ideas? I don't want to spend a bundle, as it's just for one day a week. He's not a good napper at home, so I doubt they'll have much luck there, but I want to give them every chance!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks, ladies! I figured somewhere like that would have something, but didn't want to go during back to school time unless I knew for sure.

I always see them in the back to school section of Target each year. They sell out fast around here.

Don't be surprised if he naps for them. If he does, ask the teachers if there are any specific words that they use at nap time, and use them at home.
"lie down" and "close your eyes" apparently are part of the nap time routine at daycare and they work wonders for us at home.

good luck to you and yours,

There are 1" and another thickness. Get the thickest one.

You can put a blanket with it in his cubby. I made a pillowcase like cover for our grandson. It was so handy because if it got damp or dirty he could just flip it over.

You'd be surprised at how many kids fall asleep at nap time somewhere else. He'll be playing and mentally using more energy. I bet he learns to take a nap again.

He'll also see all the other kids laying down and going out. So he'll have peer pressure to lay down and be still too.

Yup. Walmart or Target. Any one of those big-time chain stores should have them.

My son used a yoga mat. Any sports store (or even big store like target or walmart) will sell them.

Wal-Mart usually has them about this time of year. Also if there is a Mardel Christian Store near you, they often keep them in stock throughout the year. I think they sell for about $15 or less.

JC Penny has ones that are more like sleeping bags.

Also, if they are using cots, a fitted crib sheet and a blanket will work
