Where Do You Buy Your Toys?

I'm looking for some new online and real shops to find some toys for my toddler. I usually just cruise the toy aisles at BRUs, Target, Walmart and a local Once Upon a Child, and would like some new ideas since I can't always find what I'm after.

Do you have any favorites that offer good deals and/or unique toys?

thanks :-)

There is a cute little toystore called the Owl's Nest located in the Southlake Towncenter. It is a family owned business. They do a great job of finding unique toys that you don't see everyday. Another really good spot is the Lakeshore Learning Center next to the Arrangement (furniture store) and the Galleria. It is mainly geared towards teachers, but the public can go in as well. They have wonderful toys that are fun and educational. My 16 month old loves to go there because there is so much to look at and they have toys set out for her to test out.

Hi, P.! :-)

babyscholars.com
babycenter.com
for books, bookcloseouts.com (you can look them up at amazon for more information and then buy at this site) or Half Price Books
craigslist.org
Haven't been in a mall in forever but always liked the Discovery Store and Imaginarium (I think it's called?).

Amazon.com always has good deals on toys. Shipping is usually free if >$25 or sometimes they'll offer free shipping irrespective of the price.

Babycenter.com always has great stuff and you can usually get free shipping or various sales. Etoys is okay, but tend to be higher priced than most places. Also look at Target.com as they will have stuff on there that they don't carry in the store. Sensationalbeginnings.com and Onestepahead.com are great too...can you tell I've done lots of toy shopping for my 15 month old?? I just had to sell some recently so that we can move across country! I was sad! :)
