My hair salon has a display of little girl bows made by a local person. I love them but my girls have out grown them.
HI! I own a pretty successful online children's boutique. I make custom bows/accessories as well as paint clothing. 85% of my sales are off facebook with the rest being local. I am just getting onto Etsy. I did this on the side for a few years and really just focused the past year and am now doing this full time and am part of one of the few Elite Bow Making Groups.
So my question is For those that buy custom bows. (not bows from walmart/target/dollar store), ones that are actually handmade by desginers in the US, where are you buy them mostly? I want to start reaching out to other aspects and seeing what can pull in more business. Such as Etsy, Ebay, Store Envy, Craft Cafe, Facebook etc?
Thanks in advance!

The archery range:) Sorry, I have boys.
I don't buy bows, but I wonder if you could team up with some event planners, cake decorators, etc., as "power partners" for your business?
If I were looking for bows, I would definitely look on Etsy first. I would also check out Ebay, but my personal impression would be that I would find the cutest and highest quality on Etsy rather than Ebay, so that would be where I would be inclined to check first (although I think there may be more exposure on Ebay, but more cache on Etsy. Does that make sense?) Good luck!
Once Upon a Child in Carrollton. They have someone who makes custom bows for them.
We aren't a bow household.
You might try hooking up with other small online stores. I wish I could remember its name but I buy fairy wings and dresses really cheap from a place online where bows would fit in perfectly.
I make my own bows.
But I do see the most beautiful bows at children's clothing stores.
At Christmas Stores
High end Gift shops
High end stationers, where they sell gift boxes and gift wrap
We have a few super fancy Pharmacies here in town that sell beautiful gifts, stationary, fancy chocolates and wrapping..
I only really look at super fancy bows on totsy or zulily.
Kids' salons
Children's consignment shops and boutiques
Craft Shows
Flea Markets
I make bow for my kid, but I buy lots of handmade stuff on Etsy.
Maybe you could approach the cheerleaders at the high school... the girls in our area all wear them for cheering. Or talk to dance & gymnastics classes - or the specialty stores where they sell dance costumes.
This is really far away, but Wizard of Kids in Fargo, ND.
I make my own. I've had an offer to put them in a shop run by a church, but I just like to make them for fun, I thought it would be too stressful to do that.
Etsy for sure! Sometimes craft fairs. Ryan High School in Denton has a big craft fair every year.
