I am having a dinosaur party for my son and I would like to find some plastic eggs (like the Easter ones) to hide dinosaurs in. Any clue where I can find them this time of year?

What can I do next?

Do you have a big party outlet close to you? Like Arne's in Houston? They usually keep stuff for all year round in sections. You may see if you can order off their website. Google Arne's Party. Good luck! I usually save mine and reuse them because we get so many with 3 kiddos. ;)

If there's a science museum in your area, call their gift shop.
If there's a large party-planning store nearby, they're likely to have them.
Possibly an arts supply store.

If there's enough time, and if you don't find what you're looking for,
try ALIN'S or MICHAEL's online.

Like suggested already, Oriental Trading Co. They do have a great selection and some look pretty cool to use for dinosaurs. They also have a group that you can decorate yourself and that could be a great activity for the kids. They also ship quickly.

Party City?

If they're tiny dinosaurs, use the little 'eggs' at the HEB Buddy Buck machine.

-or-

Just hide the dinosaurs w/o the eggs. Talk about camoflauge.

-or-

Call Goodwill and see if they have them handy. Call your mom or neighbor who has a huge case of Easter Decor in their garage somewhere and see if you can borrow a few dozen eggs. My cousin had the same dilema a couple years ago (no eggs for her kid's December bday Dinosaur-themed party). My mom told her "You should have called me. I have oodles of Easter Eggs in my attic."

Yes, but you have to ask the manager. Goodwill here keeps items until the right holiday. Sometimes they have the leftovers, unused, from Target for .25 a pack.
Also, S&S worldwide and Oriental Trading would have them possibly.

Oriental Trading will probably still have Easter stuff on line. They have all kinds of stuff, and it might be on clearance.
