A.P.
Mick Inkpen is on Facebook. Maybe you could ask him? Our girls loved Kipper and now their younger cousins do. He'd have a market in the US if he decided to license the image.
my daughter absolutely LOVES the Kipper the dog show on Sprout. she has some dvd's and books, but i'm trying to find a kipper the dog doll/plush. i've searched online and have only found people selling them for ridiculous amounts...apparently they are rare??!! i just can not fathom payingb $50, $90, over $100 for one (which is what i've found).
if anyone knows where i could find one at a normal price, i'd love to know! thx. :)

has the best prices I've seen at $35-100.
They used to be fairly common in the UK (haven't been back in a few years), but they're still very rare here. Still and all... 20 pounds is still like $40 (or at the time, more like $50) plus VAT, made them very expensive for my US pocketbook.
If you sew at all a fabric store usually has faux fur, and you could make your own. ((What I had to do when my toddler absolutey HAD to have a stuffed Oppa 5 years before they hit the market.))
Well, I looked on Ebay and I found a Kipper the dog toy on. And it is only around 2 dollars.
It is used but I think it looks great!
I don't know, but we love Kipper too! And Tiger, lol.
My kids used to watch that when it was on Noggin and they were little. We still like it, and have some videos... they are 9 and 12 now. :)
I have found the same thing. I can't believe a stuffed animal could cost so much! My 3 year old son just loves Kipper; it would be a great gift, but no stuffed animal is worth that much!
All I know is that there is a knit pattern available, if you like to knit or know someone else who does.
