Yes, I agree with some of the other responds.. Your dishwasher will do the job for you, no worries... And yes, great job on breastfeeding your baby, like they say, Breast is Best!!!!
I am breast feeding my 7 month old exclusively. (I made the mistake of not offering a bottle early on and now she won't take one at all.) I do, however, pump milk to mix with her cereal. At what point can you stop sterilizing the bottles/ pump parts/sippie cups? It is time consuming and I'd like to let my dishwasher do all the work if I can. BTW, I've done this before but it has been too many years and I can't remember what the protocol is or was. Thanks!

The advice I received - 25 years ago - was you can stop sterilizing when you find them chewing on their shoes! Made sense to me!
Your dishwasher should get things hot enough that you don't have to sterilize it anymore. If you've been doin it for 7 mo you should be tired. LOL!!!
Good luck!

I know plenty of people who don't at all. The world of sterilizing was before electric dishwashers, which provide a LOT of heat and don't allow water to sit.
You'd be fine if you stopped now.
I breast feed my little man and pump as well and I just put everything in the dishwasher. My little man hasn't had so much as a cold in nearly nine months, so I think you are good to go! :)
today looks like a great day!
