I finally had a girl, the youngest of 3. I would love to get her ears pierced. Does anyone know where to get ears pierced, or when is a good age to get them done?

What can I do next?

IMHO, when they are old enough to want it themselves and take care of it themselves...maybe 2nd or 3rd grade. Babies are adorable enough on their own...no need to add accessories, especially ones that involve altering their body.

If you do decide to do it, I would ask your pediatricians office. That is probably the safest place to do it as far as not risking infection on a child so young.

When she can tell you she wants them and take care of them herself.

I think whenever you want to do it do it. My daughter was a little over 2 when I did hers. I went to Claire's and I had two women do it at the same time so we were done in a second. She cried for a few seconds and then she was fine. I think she was more afraid of the two woman who were stainding in front of her. Most child get immunized and I remember it hurting less than that.

Claires or Icing do the ear piercing. My daughter is 4.5 but i am still waiting for her ear piercing. I think earlier is better. I still regret why didn't i do it when she was younger.
