The upper extremity consists of three parts: the arm, the forearm, and the hand

You should consult with your chiropractor with any questions since they are the one helping you with your care.

R.,
Hoffman's reflex refers to the hands, specifically fingers, according to the definition I looked up. It refers to a movement in the thumb caused by a pinching of the nail of one of the middle three fingers. Apparently, it means the sensory nerves are extra sensitive to electrical stimulation.
Also, the upper extremity is considered the shoulder down to and including the hand and fingers.
Hope this helps. Kate

the upper extremity is from the shoulder down. The chiro said you don't have it but mentioned it? I'd research further and maybe consult your MD, or primary care physician!!!

I think you should ask the chiropractor to explain it to you.
