I was thinking about things that I doubt a ton of people know about, and I wanted to share them. I also want to know what lesser known treasures YOU have discovered, and wish more people knew about!!

Movies - Castaway on the Moon
TV Series - The Duchess of Duke Street
Band - They Might Be Giants
Cleaning Product - SOS Pads (sure, everyone knows them, but those suckers will clean ANYTHING. Want your shower new and sparkly white? SOS!)
Book - Honestly, Dark Tower/Gunslinger series by Stephen King. It's not unknown, but I think everyone would love it, not just his fans...it's got something for everyone!
**Added - food - thank you, Momma L - There used to be a S'mores candy bar that I really loved. It's gone now. ;( Really liking the Oikos Cafe Latte yogurt at the moment!

So...what little known delights can you share?

So What Happened?

**It's great to know what I like isn't totally unknown! Maybe just in my small town... ;)
They Might Be Giants are so great, but I just get frustrated that they are known for doing the themes for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Malcolm in the Middle... ;)
Duchess of Duke Street...I am in love. I have to order the whole series from my library each time I want to see it...I want to splurge and buy it, but it's about 70 dollars.

I am looking forward to checking out everyone's treasures!

***Ah, political punk. The closest I ever got was Rage Against the Machine, although there was the one girl punk band that I can't, for the life of me, remember their name (right now, anyhow) and they HAD a song called "Right Now" that was great. Something about New World Order.

I will bite this is fun!

Movies- Crazy Beautiful..........Kristen Dunst plays this wild eyed Teenager in love with someone unlikely. She plays who I was growing up. That angry, mellow dramatic artsy teen stuck at home.

TV Series-I am normally a late bloomer when it comes to TV series. I think my favorite one growing up was ''Party of Five''.....

Cleaning Product- Bio-Kleen anything. From their counter spray to laundry soap!!

Books-My favorite book of all time is ''The Bell Jar'', although there are a few I have kept on my shelf forever,''Granny Dan,Dancing on my grave'', it is a story about a dancer.

Food- NOOSA Yogurt!!!! Oh my god if you have not tried it, find it. You will NEVER eat another brand of yogurt again. I fell in love and then went out and found every flavor I could!!!

How about.....Favorite hiding place a.k.a vacation spots.....Salmon La sac Washington.......away from the Tourist spots......find the access hwy's and then go in from there. It is the most serene spot I have found in my state. Running away there is like dying and going to heaven.

Music......''The Lumineers'' oh my god.........they will make you sing your heart out as loud as the people in the car next to you can stand. Even just typing about them I have the songs in my head and I have the chills. LOVE THEM! Also though for my wild side and raging Political desire to scream about how crappy our system is.......Rise Against. I have seen them in concert about four times. Political punk rock.........AMAZING!

Now to go read other response's!

I LOVE Castaway on the Moon. Such an awesome movie and I have been trying to get some of my friends to watch it. They Might Be Giants is awesome too.

Movie: Ink and The Giant Mechanical Man are both great
TV show: Legend of the Seeker and Firefly. Two awesome series that were cancelled way too early.

Keebler Elves Grasshoppers: Taste and look just like Girl Scouts Thin Mints... and you can get them all year round

Band: Schmoyoho aka, The Gregory Brothers They are the creators of the Songify youtube sensations Winning and Double Rainbow, and Auto-Tune the News, but their non-parody music is awesome as well. I met them in person after a show and they sang me happy birthday :)

Book: I have so many, but my mind is blown right now. Will fill in later!

Ah! I loved Duchess of Duke Street. Gemma Jones was great in that! How about The Grand? That was done in the late 90s, I believe, with Susan Hampshire, and was quite the series.

Will add more later today-- must get ready 'for school'.
