That happened to my dog when she licked a toad. It was white and kind of foamy almost. Dogs are highly allergic to toads and can die from it. You have to rinse her mouth out a lot.

Really, mamas on here can't diagnose your dog's stomach issues. It could be dozens of things! If it continues today you need to take her to the vet to see if she has eaten something that is upsetting her, or if she is sick. Puppies can eat things, toys, etc., and can become blocked and it can get serious really fast. They can also have allergic reactions to houseplants or become poisoned by them. Or the food you are feeding her could be upsetting her stomach. Or she could have an upset stomach if you fed her table food. Do you see how it's impossible for us to know? Time to visit the vet.
First off... NEVER give your dog TYLENOL as mentioned below! Tylenol KILLS dogs! There is nothing you can give a dog for vomiting EXCEPT for pepcid... they can have regular 10mg of human pepcid. BUT... if she's vomiting from an obstruction or disease/poison then it won't help. If it's just an upset belly then it will help. Make sure you didn't switch her food too quickly or give her table scraps. I am a vet assistant and vomiting is something we never really wait on. They can get dehydrated quickly and continue vomiting... You could at least call your vet and give them more info. Maybe have an appt. for tomorrow just in case it doesn't stop. I would definitely go tomorrow if she is still doing it. Don't let her eat anything until tomorrow just to give her belly a chace to calm down. Dogs don't know to stop eating if they're sick sometimes! Good luck!
Dogs in general will throw up if something is upsetting their stomachs. Dogs will generally go outside and eat grass to help relieve themselves more if necessary. Make some white rice and either add some to their dry food (should only eat dry food now and better for puppies anyway). Keep clean water handy. Just like a baby, look at when they eat, sleep and relieve themselves, hopefully the poop is solid? It may still be watery, if it continues after today, I would call your vet. Young pups should have gotten their shots by now. Just like a baby! :) Other signs, is nose cold and wet? Good sign, yucky sign if it is hot and dry.
Try and keep dog in your yard, they pick up germs from parks and places where other dogs go, also, keep him from touching other noses with animals, how pet germs are spread.
I say take her in today if she keeps vomiting. A few times is usually no big deal if the dog is still drinking plenty of fluids, behaving normally (not acting sluggish or disoriented), etc. My dogs get upset tummies all the time. But usually they eat some grass, throw up once or twice and then are done. If it keeps happening, it could be any of the possible reasons listed below by other mamas. Better to be safe than sorry, right?
We had a Schnauzer who developed Pancrititis- this resulted from too much fat in her blood which is a genetic condition that can happen in several breeds, this can also affect liver function. Your vet can test for this with a simple blood test. She had to be put on a fat restricted diet. We lost her last year to epilepsy.
On the other hand our 8 year old lab did this too, though he got very lethargic so we took him to the emergency vet hospital and it turned out he had swallowed a piece of a towel that was in his dog house and it was obstructing his bowel and had to have surgery and lost about 10 inches of his intestine. He almost died and spent a week at the vet.
If it does not go away or if your dog becomes lethargic and won't eat or drink take her in as soon as possible. You can also give them Pedialite for the dehydration caused by the vomiting, no sports drinks like Gatoraide.
Sounds like an upset stomach, she may have eaten somthing weird that is having a hard time digesting... like a toy or something. Watch her for a day or two, if she's got diahrea you should take her in. Sometimes eating grass helps them because it helps grab what ever is irritating in the stomach and barfs up or passes out the other end.
It is really hard to say. Could be the dog ate grass, spider, bad food, sick, or something else. You should really take your dog in if it keeps happening through out today and even into tomorrow.
mine did/does that at the first sign of cold weather every year. He is 11 years old now so he is better at just doing it once or twice and stopping on his own.
I had a vet said that once they start vomiting sometimes they can't stop. You can give them children types of meds. Like little tummies or Tylenol.
I used to have a Boston, their stomachs can be sensitive and they can be allerfic to lots of things. I would definitely call your vet just to be on the safe side.
LET him outside to eat grass it will solve itself
