Is it too late??
I would get her groceries or a meal so she didin't need to cook or grocery shop when she could be sleeping! just my 2 cents.
One of my daycare parents has a birthday this weekend. She's going through an extremely stressful time in her life. She gets little sleep on some days and enough on others. But her sleep is all over the place and it's hard. She has an almost 1 year old baby and a 2.5 year old boy. She's only going to have about 11 hours between shifts and will be with the kids most of that time. I want to give her something nice. I'd watch the kids extra but I have a funeral to go to. I'm looking for a very thoughtful idea to get her. She just needs her spirits lifted.
I love the spa idea and the pedicure idea. But I have 2 funerals this weekend and a full crew of children during the week. It would be another week before I could offer extra sitting time. I already offer extra sitting time so she can sleep extra on the weekends. If I knew someone that does daycare I'd send someone to her house. But I don't know anyone besides myself.
I think I'll buy the bath stuff. Maybe I'll include some gift certificats to some place to eat with the kids too. Thanks for the ideas :)

If you cannot help her at this very time-how about later maybe another week? Does she have a sitter? If so and you cannot help how about paying the sitter for extra time-this way she could take time for herself (be it a spa or NAP) she is tired and any time you can take the kids and she will not worry then it is all good! And throw in a chocolate bar for the extra effort-never hurts!
SPA day! : ) She can use it whenever she has time.
personally, i would get her a nice set of soothing bath salts! lol.
I love the pedicure idea but if you really want to make her day, include babysitting. Make an appt when you have the time to watch the kids for her.
