What to Do for Childcare for 3 Year Old During the Summer?

My child currently goes to our church preschool 2 days a week from 9-2, which is when I work. Of course, they don't operate during the summer. Where can I take her? I need someplace that will allow her to come 2 or 3 days a week. Not all day even, maybe 5 hours or so. Would love something more structured than an hourly childcare place, like Kidding Around or Adventure. Looking for Allen or Plano, possibly North Dallas even. Thoughts/suggestions?

What can I do next?

Check out Cambridge Academy at Park/Midway. My son went there for a few years and we loved it. Although he was full time, I think they may do part time as well. www.cambridgekids.com

Primrose School of Forest Creek offers an awesome summer program and has part time! You can chose 5, 3 or 2 half days a week and the part time hours there are 8:30-2:30. It is very structured with weekly themes and great summer time activities! Check them out! The number is ###-###-#### and they are located on Coit and Hedgcoxe in Plano! Good Luck!

Ask moms at the current MDO what their plans are for the summer. Odds are there might be someone in your shoes too and if you're children end up going to the same place they might feel more comfortable seeing a child they know.

Also, ask the teachers too. They might have some great reccomendations.

Christian Life Assembly on the Carrollton/Plano border has an MDO in the summer however it only covers 7 weeks. My son goes there, and loves it. http://www.clife.org/children.php?pg=mothers
