Hello mamas! I need your help. I will have my own kids ages 3 (girl) and almost 7 (boy), along with a 7 year old girl and 9 year old boy, the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We'll live in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area. What is there to do, to make the day go by easily? We will eat sack lunches that day, and I don't want to spend more than about 5.00 per child...spending no money at all would be ideal. Any suggestions? Thanks.

What can I do next?

I used to look at Guidelive.com for free entertainment and parks to go to with the kids. Not sure if they still have it but they used to have a top 100 free things to do in the Dallas area.

Here's another site I found...

http://www.visitdallas.com/visitors/free-things

And if you like looking at older buildings with a big area for running around, check out the Farmer's Branch Historical Park. It's free, but if you ask the docent to let you in to the homes that aren't already opened, then you should tip.

You could go to Monkey Buisness. It's an indoor play center...a lot of fun and pretty cheap. They are about 7 bucks per child.

Here is their info:

They are located at:

2200 Airport Fwy
#620

Have you been to Founder's Plaza? This is a free activity where you can watch the planes at DFW land. When they recently re-opened a speaker had been installed allowing you to overhear the pilots speaking with the air traffic controllers as they are being directed into land. This is free. Just an idea.
