What to Buy Hubby for His Birthday?

So I'm a horrible gift giver! My husband's 37th birthday is coming up and I would love some ideas of gifts I could possibly give him. A little about him - he's a duck hunter, loves tools and has lots of them, likes being outside. I thought about getting an outdoor firepit but not sure what to get and from where?

Any ideas on a good gift?

Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

When it comes to gift giving I really like the idea of giving an "activity" or vacation or something. (Blanking on how else to describe it! LOL) For instance, for my son I prefer gifts like a trip to the amusement park, a season pass to the zoo, a month of tae-kwan-do lessons, etc. For my husband I have done things like a gift certificate for sky-diving, a trip to Arkansas, a sunset boat cruise. Sure, gift cards are practical, but memories are much better! :)

My husband and I are both very similar to what you're describing. I don't hunt, but my hubby does... I do however own a pistol and have a license to carry. For Christmas, I got a gift card to the gun range, and some ammo. I also do cakes on the side and he got me a bunch of cake stuff from Michael's. : P

I would need to know a "budget" before I completely answer your question. Gift cards are good... But not great. It kind of shows you have no idea what he'd really want. Just where he'd likely shop to buy something.

You can get some great outdoor pits at Menards,or Lowes..........Does he have a really nice stand up tool box on wheels? They have drawers and all kinds of compartments to put stuff in........he would have to have a place to put it, like the garage or something...........they are fairly expensive, but you can find sales sometimes.

How about getting him a nice grill to use.......or some nice hunting coveralls.......

Good Luck and I'm sure he will like whatever you get him.............Oh, you might go to Gander Mountain.....they have all kinds of great stuff........including kayaks if he likes to be out in nature......

Get him a Lowes or Home Depot gift card. That way if there's a tool or something he's been wanting he can get it w/o you asking and giving away what you are getting him.
