having kids!
After having our twins, I developed some strange allergies to stuff. I am now allergic to raw bananas. Before having the twins, I would make a meal of a banana and a huge scoop of peanut butter. Now raw bananas give me severe stomach cramps. I am also allergic to most hair styling products like mousses and gels. They make my head itch like crazy. I thought I had lice once because my head was itching so bad. I am also allergic to some lotions now and they make my fingers start to crack. I have become a pro at super gluing my fingers back together!
I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed strange new allergies after having kiddos???
I've had allergies since I was a little kid. My allergist told me your body chemistry changes completely every 7 years. Therefore you can grow into or out of allergies at any point in your life. I recently became allergic to poison ivy but incredibly out grew a severe cat allergy.
I've been super itchy ever since I was pregnant with my daughter. I hope it's not but I suspect it is a newly developed food allergy. UGH.

I QUIT being allergic to cumin (yay!!!) ((I cook with cumin all the time, but it used to make my mouth burn and then go numb. Come to find, things weren't nearly as spicy as I THOUGHT they were!))

Pregnancy hormonse can definitely change your allergies. Some people with allergies before pregnancy fair better after the pregnancy so I am sure it could work both ways. Maybe in time things will return back to normal or this might be the new you.
My food allergies became more pronounced after I had my daughter and moved back to my home state. I also now have terrible outdoor allergies that I never had before.
