What's the Cutest Thing Your Baby/toddler Did Recently?

I'm sitting at work exhausted and bored and I'm missing my baby like crazy. Keep in mind I live with him and just tucked him in last night so I don't know why I'm missing him but I just do! Wish I were home with him, holding his chubby little body in my arms and breathing in his sweet scent. haha. Anyways, the cutest thing my son did was at church yesterday. My husband was holding him on his lap and I was feeding him cheerios to keep him quiet during the sermon. I would lay out 2 in my hand and my son would take one up in each hand and eat them. A little boy who looked to be around the same age (1) was standing up on the pew in front of ours and they started smilng really widely at each other. From that point on, my son would eat the cheerio in his left hand and then offer the one in his right to his new friend. The other boy never took it (he just kept smiling -- don't think he really understood what a cheerio was) so my son would pop it in his own mouth and eat it. But with every handful (which is one cheerio at this point haha), he would offer one and eat one, offer one and eat one. My husband and I just looked at each other thinking, "when on earth did he learn to share??" It was such a poignant moment for me and just so freaking cute b/c my son was giddy during this entire time, happy with his cheerios and new friend...I just wanted to share :)

What's YOUR cute story?

I was cooking dinner last night in capris and my 3.5 year old son just walked up and kissed my calf, and said, "I love you, mommy,' and then skipped off. I love that boy too!

if my cat is asleep or us for that matter my 2 yr old will go up and give the sleeping animal or person his blankie. pat them on the back and just smile from ear to ear and clap for himself. we wake up with a blankie and sometimes a tippy in our face all the time. but his favorite person to do it to is the cat bless her patient little heart. she just looks at him and goes back to sleep.

OK - my story doesn't make you feel all warm and fuzzy, but I found it super funny. I took my kiddos for pictures on Sat. My 2 yr old son was pointing to all the stuffed animals and naming them. "Look mommy - chicken!" "Look mommy - frog!" He gets to a fox stuffed animal and says "Mommy - what that?" I told him a fox. He exclaimes "A Fuk?! Mommy - fuk tv! fuk tv! Swiper fuk tv!" And through my laughter and embarrassment, I had to translate so that the picture people didn't think my 2 yr old was using foul language. "Yes, love. Swiper from Dora is a FOX on tv!"

When my son was about 18 months, I was 3 months pregnant with his sister. One day I modeled a new nursing bra for my husband when my son pointed to my breast and asked "cake?" (maybe the lace reminded him of frosting?) My husband smiled and said yes, those are called cupcakes...My son then pointed to my husbands chest with a puzzled expression and asked "pancakes?"

Our almost 2 year old has to hold his 6.5 month old brother's hand every time he drinks milk from his sippy cup. It is sooooo cute. If the 6.5 month old is sleeping he walks around saying "Da, da, da" which means "John, John, John".

My son (7 months) and daughter (4 years old today!) put their faces really close together and giggle non-stop while staring at each other. Then my son tries to grab her face and she tickles him. It is the happiest, cutest, laugh-fest I have ever seen.

Last night, my son who is 3.5 brushed his sister's hair.... and then he made her bed, before bed time... and gave her a hug and told her he loves her... and even tucked her in! And sung her a lullaby song that he made up himself.
All on his own...
it was so amazing...
Kids are amazing...

Oh another time I was changing my clothes... and my son said "Nice blue underwear Mommy..."
It was so cute.

This morning, my 2 1/2 year old daughter, Aubrey, came to me with my flip flop (which I guessed looked broken to her) and said, "what's wrong with your shoe, Mommy?" I said, " I don't know" and she replied, "I think it needs new batteries." lol.

I love it when they share their slobbery food. My boyfriends "child-less" friends learned the hard way. LOL. I guess because my baby heard so much she's pretty and smart, and such that one day I asked her, "who's the prettiest baby?" She responded with pointing at herself, smiling and giggling. =)

My daughter is 4, but I'll share something she did yesterday!

We had been swimming at our apartment pool, then were drying off & warming up. She wanted to lay by the pool, so we laid out her towel to sit on. Few minutes later she's doing yoga on her towel! haha She started out with a downward dog & then raised one leg straight out & up haha

I don't specifically train her or anything either, she just watches when I occasionally do it w/ my Wii Fit Plus. She was doing a pretty good job too! Had her legs pretty straight, back straight & head down haha

Other people at the pool were asking "what is she doing??" "she does yoga?!" lol

My 13 month old princess used her potty then she drug the kitten to it and plopped it in the hole! She kept putting it back on the potty every time it would get out so she eventually shut the lid on it! Oh and it was only a lil pp so it wasn't terribly messy!
