Yes Irving is about half way.
I know this is a slightly odd question. I live in Keller and I am supposed to meet up with someone from Carrolton. It looks like Irving may be the midpoint (Valley View Drive???), but I am so bad with navigation I don't know! Can anyone out there suggest a good midway point? We are just meeting so I can deliver a cake she ordered...I don't even know this person.
Thanks!

It really depends on what type of "meet up" you're planning. Is it something with the kids? Or 2 moms meeting over coffee while the kids are in school? Or a business-type meeting?
Founders Plaza (the DFW Airport Observatory) is located at the north end of the airport, which is pretty centrally located for both of you. It's a great outdoor area with picnic tables, grassy area, etc. They also have several statues, binocular posts, and a radio that announces what's being said between the control room and various pilots in-flight. Kids love it.
If you're looking for something indoors. Grapevine Mills Mall offers a kid-friendly option. They even open at 8:00am for walkers, many with strollers.
If you're looking for more of a business atmosphere, there's a Starbucks right at Grapevine Mills Dr and 2499.
All 3 of these are pretty centrally located to both Keller and Carrollton. Also, you might want to think about what time of day you'll be meeting and consider where the heaviest traffic might be at that time.
Good Luck!

I live very near Carrollton and visit my parents in Keller on a regular basis. I'd meet at Grapevine Mills Mall. It'd be the easiest to find them if you'd meet next to say the Chick-fil-A outside the mall.
Irving is about half way, but it's a little farther south and will take both of you longer.
