Hello Mama's,

The other day I was at the store and I got a Bird's Eye Voila meal ( for the first time ) it had pasta, chicken corn, broccoli, and garlic, OH ~ it was so good.
I made it last night at about midnight and I ate the whole bag by myself. YUM.
It was so easy to make. It only took me 7 minutes on the stove.

Have any of you mama's tried the Bird's Eye Voila meals and if so what was your absolute favorite one?
I am heading back to the store soon and I want to get more, but I want to know which ones are the best.

If you haven't tried any of these meals then my question to you is " what are you having for dinner tonight?'

Sometimes I feel like I just get exhausted from thinking about what is for dinner tonight.

Your ideas are welcome.

Thank you mama's.

What can I do next?

I buy those and other brands a lot,, Schwans too. I can figure out the points on Weight Watchers too and even tho the bag says its 4 servings, they intend you to add more things to make it dinner so I can eat the whole bag and still not be over points! I add more broccoli to a lot of them. They are good!
Tonights dinner will be chicken, and veggies, and rice maybe. And I want GrammaTs pineapple upside down cake but since I cant have pineapple Im making it with peaches. I will melt a bit of butter in a cake pan, then sprinkle with brown sugar, pour a couple cans of drained, sliced peaches into the pan I will mix up a yellow cake mix and pour over the peaches and bake. It will be more like a cobbler which is my husbands favorite anyway. Yum.

Our favorite is PF Chang's - Beef & broccoli. The kids love it - I make rice - cook PFC on stove top for 12 mins - and we're good to go!

I LOVE simple what's for dinner too. Some of the stove top meals aren't winners with my kids - and some times me. I like the Voila meals too. I'm all for EASY and QUICK but must taste good too. :)

Oh thank you! Dinners can be so boring to continually think up. I must say however, that last night I made the best spaghetti and meatballs ever! Tonight, perhaps salmon patties with brown rice and rocket and Parmesan salad.

Carne Asada tonight (w/ restaurant bought rice and beans and pico de gaillo, because it's actually cheaper to buy it from the restaurant than to make it myself).

Last night; Deviled Eggs, stuffed mushrooms, grilled polenta, crabcakes, spinach salad.

Night before: frosted flakes :)

Hi Moms - I Just wanted to share my solution of the age old problem "What's for dinner". We have a magnetic menu board. Once a week my kids get to randomly pick items from a basket and choose which day we have them. Then on a weekend I grocery shop for those items. Then when the kids say "What's For Dinner?" I say - you should know you picked it! I printed out pics of the food and laminated them and stuck magnet tape on the back.

I often double recipes so I can freeze half for another night. Tonight we are having Salisbury steak (the previously prepared, uncooked patties are defrosting now), peas and garlic red potatoes. I plan at least a couple of weeks' meals at a time so I won't have to worry about what's for dinner every night. I find many great recipes on allrecipes.com.

Tonight we had sandwiches: grilled eggplant, arugula and goat cheese on lightly grilled italian bread. It was delicious!

We love voila too! Garlic chicken is our favorite. I like the cheesy chicken..I think that's what it's called. Also, the cheese potato chicken is good.
My husband likes the Asian one.

I never pay attention to the names. I just reach in and grab a bunch. I have a habit of adding more mixed vegetables to most of these meals. I get them when on sale and stretch them anyway I can. They can be good with added cans of soup or additional rice etc.
