Description: Attention young scientists! If you’re interested in dihydrogen monoxide, you will want to be at the workshop on this night. There will be lots of experimentation with its remarkable properties…hopefully none will get on your clothing. Don’t worry- it dries quickly. (remember, you can always purchase dihydrogen monoxide in its own containment container in the Professor’s little gift shop.

Have you heard of Geocaching ? That is fun for explorers. Look it up online and get educated.

Other ideas : scavenger hunts. crafts, puppet shows, bouncey places, cooking classes at home. Have the kids pick out receipes and make something new each week. My kids love to make pretend soup. A bunch of spices, cut veggies, & lettuce and water at the counter and they are good.
Treasure hunt. Make a map and put them on a treasure hunt with clues along the way. Go to the pond in your area look at animals for adoption. Go to retirement homes and color and make crafts for the elderly.

Have you tried the Diamond Valley Aquatic center? Its located out in Hemet next to the Western Center Museum. I dont know how old your kids are - but they have a fantastic kids water park area for the little ones. It runs about $6-$7 /adult. I dont know what the website is - sorry, but I bet you could google it and find it!! In regards to the berry picking...there is a great strawberry picking farm off the 5 in Carlsbad. I believe its called the Carlsbad Strawberry Farm....we just went last week and had a blast - -I know they will be "picking" until late July....good luck!!
